A gay guy in med school had the same name as me, so we were always assigned to the same surgeries and shifts. He was often high on drugs and telling everyone how he loved to get plastered and let many random guys fuck him during weekends... the rest of the group never knew how to react to this level of debauchery. That was traumatizing, and the worst semester for everyone involved. Maybe I just have a boomer's old brain, idk, but I'd like to believe even gay people would think this is not normal.
Finally, I recognized a lot of user names from other places on the forum, and never realized you guys were gay and into this. So I guess this is a weird form of complement, but thanks for manifesting self-restrain and not oversharing on the rest of the site.

Anyways, I've noticed alot of men who don't have self respect for themselves either can become incels or lean in the other direction and fuck a bunch of women or men. The common thread here is having respect and standards for yourself.
Gay men don't have alot of options for partners, let alone life partners so some gay men just take the black pill and say, "Fuck it. I'm a fag. You really won't find the whorish fags here unless they power level. They tend to stay far away from websites like this. They are sex addicts, many gays turn out this way from porn addiction which is common in the fag community. Never have I seen anywhere else where someone makes fanart like fags do about their favorite gay porn stars or talks about gay porn like it's the World Cup. I'm very reserved so I don't really fit in with the sex addicts or most fags in general, all of my fag friends are bisexuals. I don't know if it's where I searched, but every moment with fags turns into them talking about sex so I wind up avoiding them. Many fag activities also involve sex, sex jokes, kinks or being repulsive as possible which encourages fags to be whores under the logic "They're doing it too"
Like what Lavender mentioned, the gay dating pool is extremely low. Many give up either becoming whores or gaycels (very rare, mostly consists of jeets). Many faggots will not date bisexuals either so they limit themselves more. But when they whore out they slowly get into more degenerate fetishes and wind up doing drugs more often than not. When they get old enough, hitting their middle ages, they are rotting physically, personality, and emotionally. There is nothing left in their empty lives so they off themselves or wallow in their anger and STDS.
How do I deal with it? Well again, I'm very reserved so I'm not around these sort of people often. I genuinely don't bother interacting with them anymore. This does mean I get labeled as self hating time after time.

To the particular level of humility/perversions, it's like any other paraphilia that's allowed to spiral out of control. In addition to the things noted in other users' responses, I think part of it is that the concept of the "LGBT+ community" as we think of it today traces back specifically to the sexual liberation/free love ethics of the US in the 60s. The whole "out and proud", "we're here, we're queer, get used to it" mindset could be viewed as a warped version of American cultural ideals of individualism and "doing your own thing". There's also influence from post-Marxists and the like who viewed flouting the sexual norms of society as a way of dismantling oppressive capitalist power structures or whatever – as with everything else, the issue is always the revolution.
The end result of it all is this ethos that views putting all the details of one's sex life, no matter how sordid or extreme, on display for all the world to see not only as not a bad thing, but as a positively good thing, although the type of gays who appear in this thread (i.e., hypercapitalists who have enough disposible cash to center their lives around hedonistic pursuits) have mostly jettisoned the Marxism in favor of vague ideals of living authentically/self-expression/etc., etc. – hence the insipid, corporate-friendly concept of "Pride" responsible for literally fucking everything being covered in tacky-ass rainbow flags for one month of the year. There's no reason that believing homosexuality shouldn't be criminalized or isn't inherently immoral necessarily entails approving of puppy play fetishists (another form of consumption as identity – just buy yourself a hood and maybe a harness and voila, instant subcultural membership) crawling around on all fours in front of little kids, coom-brained twinks filming themselves getting gaped in Senate hearing rooms, or openly tweeting about all the men who pissed in your asshole last night, but here we are.
