Can also confirm this, as someone who has a group of said schizoids that will shitpost when I would post things in specific threads(which I'll refuse to elaborate upon). Actually, they even make shitposts targeting me when I'm not posting. It's entertaining in a way but also tiring.
It's to the point that I don't actually think any of them really care about any specific thing. It feels like it's a site-wide 24/7 raid from some deranged discord server or something and they just target areas with the highest activity areas with the weakest moderation and they're more targeting specific threads rather than individuals(most the time), they just hit individuals when they happen to post in the thread(s) they target. I've seen it happen to too many small time /vg/ threads or niche general threads in other off-boards for it to be all completely unrelated to each other.
And it just happens that a huge amount of the site has really fucking weak moderation. We're talking posts getting deleted just because they've been reported by some fag cycling through proxies that still work on the site 5+ times without actually reviewing the content, and then passing a ban request on to a mod that also almost never actually checks the content. And then those same people shitting up the thread(s) they want to derail with things that are "technically not against the rules" but is pretty obvious and blatant trolling/shitposting/spamming to anyone who actively participates in the thread.
