Guys is this the power of the PS5 Pro?

Make sure to upgrade your PC as well, goy.
Of course you will need 32 Gigs of RAM.
What are you? Poor?
Don‘t you guys have money?

And yes, it will run at 24 FPS at all times.
It‘s a Cinematic game after all with a Premium price.

This sparked my interested, not the fact they downgraded their already stupid graphics idea to an even worse idea, but the part saying that the Game Director was shuffled around and now a new one came in from Valorant, around 2 years ago.
I found out that, this game is being directed by Joseph Zieggler, a game designer whose most prominent role was at Riot at the head of Valorant.
I don't have to make any jokes to make this sound funny, it just is.

I saw a review online from someone who was doing closed tests since 2023. Not too groundbreaking and it's not worth posting here but the gist is "game good but idk if people will play for over a month".
But at some point the guy mentions that there was a big push to make it F2P and putting it for $40 was a mistake, and I thought it was very interesting how the bar has been lowered.
Like it doesnt need to be F2P with $15-30 cosmetics just as much as it doesnt need to be $40 with $15-30 cosmetics. A company will release a half-finished game with the message "money us now" and when people complain that it's missing everything the company spergs out with "BUT ITS FREE!!!"

Did you know this single-gamemode, $40 pvp game with macrotransactions is going to release with only 3 maps?

Again the game went through at least one developent reboot due to layoffs, specifically the last few years when they axed a shit ton of a people due to Destiny floundering. Bungie has always had problems like this, they've always been a clusterfuck. It's just that in the past they had sufficient enough tard wranglers handling them to make sure the end products weren't complete flaming trainwrecks. But not anymore.

This makes it sound like they have to release something. This almost should have been a Destiny game mode released with the next Expansion. How the story is going to be told even sounds like "we have this mode. Pump it out, make some money, give them some slop later."

I'm not even opposed to the idea of an extraction/roguelite shooter. Where you have a management section as an AI overseeing the mission. The in the game world you play as a drone AI possibly one programmed to believe it is human. In the game world you keep running into corpses of yourself. Slowly the story and world are revealed.

This game's style is completely nonsensical and looks like shit. It's like 10 visual styles mashed together with no rhyme or reason. With it rumored to be a premium game, I can't wait to see it flop.
Pajeets and Bungie troons who are making this have no clue what good art direction looks like so they just threw a bunch of shit into an AI and gave us what came out. There is no other explanation.

They would have 100% made more money if they just released a Marathon based expansion for Destiny and this was the PvP mode that came with it. Oh, and I mean original Marathon, not this troonslop.

This feels like a game made for internal reasons rather than responding to or predicting the market.
I suspect that senior management knows that Sony will gut them for their live service expertise soon and that Marathon was put together on the cheap to give the rank and file the illusion of a future until their betters have the good spots on the lifeboats.
The plastic, doll like characters are also seriously trannycoded. I imagine Bungie's audience will latch onto this in a way that the broader market will find repulsive.

It’s very blackpilling that boycotting shit games like this isnt really an option because theyre designed for a minority of whales in the first place.
I would say the next solution would be to download these shitty f2p titles and just sit there doing nothing and ruin the experience for other players but im not entirely convinced that they get their dopamine from playing the game in the first place. Rather, the dopamine hits when they buy something colorful in the store.

Therefore the game can be unplayable and it would still make a million dollars off of a 5 figure playerbase. Bungie clearly agrees with this because theyre releasing a gamemode with 4 characters and 3 maps and no social interactions as a standalone game.

I think the biggest problem with the artstyle is that nothing is allowd to look cool or masculine anymore everything even shooters have to be distilled in to this corpo safe fortnite slop.

How the fuck can violence and war be made gay?
Doesn't even need to look masculine, just need to look like a cool robot man. The sprinting dude who gets sniped in the original announcement trailer looks fine, magenta helmet aside. I'd much rather play that game over the fucking homo mobile game it's become over the course of its development.
