Seeing 4chan's internal interface reminds me a lot of how the Windows 3.1 dialer is still in Windows 11 to this day, completely unchanged. It invokes an awful feeling of impending doom, knowing some poor bastards are going to have to sift through that shit. All in the name of keeping things compatible, just jerry rigging everything to keep the cogs turning.

Also remember when the site went down for about 8-9 hours not that long ago? Well, it was up but in an error state where people couldn't post at all. Call me autistic but I think that was a big warning sign right there, the fact that it took the whole night (in the US) to get things running again.
I wonder when will Microsoft drop the facade and stop supporting shit they've done since windows 3.1 or even older.
I can imagine a future where even your own fucking OS is on the cloud, and it sucks.
