Why, it's not like there isn't insane demand for them in the US, can't he just sell them to the next asshole on the list?
I mean Nvidia policy for the last decade has been to sell to anyone with a wallet. Jensen Huang is crying like a bitch that he's cock blocked and you know it

Like, the reason you see videos where Chinese people won’t help eachother is because if you DO help someone, you can be held liable for their hospital bill. It’s crazy and arbitrary
I do agree with that for most.

But for some... i think they're just genuinely retarded.

Man watches in confusion as child drowns 1 foot away from him:

I'm not sure what this is but I assume they're trying to avoid blame of get money? There's no way they thought anybody was going to fall for this.

If I custom made a bed out of dildos and then the buyer backed out leaving me with this dildo bed, would you want to buy it?

Nvidia has spent the past few years throwing all of their fab capacity to appease Chinese market. They've designed and redesigned chips specifically for them and their use cases. They'd likely be less useful to USI business interests, and entirely useless to the consumer market.

Put that shit behind spoilers, dude.

A lot of people think we might be accelerating the timeline on that, but there’s division the the PLA
'We' aren't accelerating anything.

The U.S. government may or may not be; I doubt that it's going to matter if there's 'division' given Xi doesn't seem the type to give a fuck about dissenters among his ranks. But whether or not they make the calculus to realize that Trump going to war over Taiwan would not only look terrible but distract from the Israeli interest in a war with Iran, is probably the deciding factor... depending on if this 'trade war' gets ugly enough to give him the casus belli in the first place which let's face it, China's been through much worse.

I say all this to emphasize that it's up in the air and that the trade war excuse would just be an excuse. There's no reason to think they'd do it out of desperation like some here might want to think.

For anyone curious who the 2028 Democratic presidential candidate will be here are how current primary polls are looking.

There's no point talking about the DNC candidate for '28 right now. By this time in Trump's first administration, nobody knew who Kamala Harris was, and Beto O'Rourke was polling high. By 2018, people were calling for Michael Avenatti to run. In the next 4 years, the DNC will float at least 5 people in the media with the hopes they catch traction for a '28 run.

The 2nd best scenario is someone like AOC gets majority voter support while the party dumps all their superdelegates behind an establishment shill akin to Hillary. The fallout from another superdelegate scandal would be world shattering for the progressives that have gone through it multiple times already.

The best scenario is the DNC short dicks their primary again and appoints an unelected candidate. EVERY democrat is still salty about how 2020 was handled.

If you insist on putting your money on a horse this early, play it safe. Dat nigga Pete checks all (most of) the right boxes.

I like to imagine Pete's bag has a dick in it.

Will things actually get better soon? and for who? I know I've baited in this thread before but a lot of outsiders really just think we're fucking outselves over, and we kind of are if the stock market is anything to go by (and don't hit me with the "it's actually based we're causing needless market insecurity)
I'm not a tranny so I don't have any plans on leaving for Canada but I'd like to hear your honest thoughts even if this is A&N
It'd be a good excuse for them to attempt to invade Taiwan.
The island is 97% Han, most want the status quo but many travel frequently to visit relatives in the mainland. No one who actually knows about the situation suggests an actual invasion can occur because it'd be bafflingly retarded - unless they're western tankies who know nothing about the PRC's real goals

Wow that sounds a lot like the stupid shit people would say about Ukraine/Russia in the years after Euromaidan.

Your government, hell any government regardless of your country of origin, is an alien entity to you and people like you. Don't bother thinking about it if you can't understand what I mean when I say "I already considered that".

Is this how Tucker's interviews usually go? Allowing a guest to ramble on without answering a direct question .. then little to no follow-up from Tucker himself?
I'm about halfway through this and Weldon sounds more like a guy with an axe to grind, then someone worth listening to. I'll listen to the rest but I'm not expecting much.

I totally agree that they don’t actually care, but there’s pressure because there’s resentment that xi moved up the timeline and might ruin decades of effort for his own glory, and that in turn feeds Xi feeling stuck, that if he backs down it’s the end for him.

But as far as it actually affecting the likelihood of war, China still has a bunch of hardware sitting around, and they’re still threatening everyone around. The Phillipines are itchy to jump in if anything pops off because they’re tired of being fucked with, and China has three ships sitting just out of sight of Sydney harbor

I think the dems could eek out a win if they stuck with the most bone stock, least controversial white guy they could possibly find but they'd rather keep trying and failing to elect a woman or nigger because they oh so desperately want to tweet #MakingHistory #LoveWins
...I wouldn't be so sure of that. I think the Democratic party is fucked for the forseeable future. As an artist living in a liberal coastal city - so many people I know (fellow artists, fellow lesbians) who normally would have been reliable Democrats, have taken the red pill & gone MAGA. & not even secretly, they're proud they voted for Trump/think the Democrat party went off the deep end appealing to gender-woo troon insanity, illegal immigrants, and radical Islam (a lot of people are seeing what has gone down in Europe/the UK especially, and are like "yeah, nah - don't want that sh!t happening here...")

Feels like an invasion of Taiwan would quickly quagmire into the rest of Asia vs China and N. Korea.

Dems also have a much tighter power structure than the republicans, party elders like Schumer and Pelosi continue to cling on an alienate people even more for being living fossils on the hill.

They still cannot cope or even recognize how they lost the election.

Define better? Will the sky start raining money in a week? Lol no. Will jobs return relatively quickly and prices drop on gas and food? Yeah. Will a bunch of retards get fired? Also yes. I voted for that especially.

I mean there's different avenues for the CCP to pursue, sure. I think the real money is just that there's some trade deal made in the next month or so, both parties walk away acting as if neither lost and what we're left with is just the same shit as before. Trump wants a 'victory' that people aren't going to flay him for and even if it just results in a net effect of slight tariffs on China and a slight lightening of their tariffs on the U.S., the people who are loyalists will defend it to the death as owning China just as I'm sure Xi's fanbase - assuming he has one - will defend his actions in turn.

Still the possibility exists for expansionist action, again, given Trump's anti-war posturing to win the election and the ongoing and obvious path being laid down for him to go to war with Iran on Israel's behalf. It'd be the right time and the right excuse for it if they really ever wanted it. Though as a certain person pointed out they're going for the 'cultural' rather than 'domination' victory with Taiwan it would seem, and they've made strides in that, so who knows.

I just wanted to point out that it is a real possibility and if it kicks off it is not because of genuine desperation.

The whole reason I'm still checking this thread is because pretty much every other media avenue is dead at the moment. Trump's rise to power broke the entertainment industry's collective brains so hard and they still haven't recovered from it. That's not even getting into the brainrot that's affected the general userbase of the internet, where the past decade made everyone into "gay softbois."

I definitely feel that. Here I've witnessed very lefty type people become the most racist people you can imagine purely from having live near Indians.

Fundamentally moneyed people want mass immigration because pajeets and spics will happily do a white mans job twice as hard for half price, they're just desperate to move to a country with indoor plumbing.
