Bruh the right was trying to bring back Gamergate and all the leftists were saying "please don't bring back Gamergate". Which, in my eyes is very Gamergate-y. In so far as, I notice both sides have completely different origins. You listen to the anti-GGers and they do not even mention the Zoe Quinn stuff. I noticed that a lot of the shit was just two groups of people yelling at each other and fighting with not a single person coming up and saying "wait a second, we're not even arguing about the same subject".

but you are right that it was systemic to the decline of the internet in general. The idea of building a personal brand became paramount, so most people who did want to create content didn't want to publish it anonymously anymore

Going back to what I said earlier its likely that 4chan is going to end up like tumblr still around but damaged with sites like the sharty taking its place.

reality: people will move back to 4cucks even after posting in altchans, if said altchans don't fuck up with their gayness they will retain some users but the rest will go back to 15 minute timer cuckchan because it's what they know about and are more "familiar" with.
