His grand contribution to the world of gaming is a total of nine speedruns. They're all on Barnstorming, an ancient arcade game that you can complete in under one minute. His best place on the leaderboard is second, which sounds impressive until you realise only two people played it.
The VODs of his runs are hosted on his own personal YouTube channel. The channel is mostly dedicated to (surprise surprise) stalking Billy Mitchell. He also posts videos of his interviews with other Billy haters.

I was first introduced to Bill Mitchell on the King of Kong, then heard about him again on AVGN Transformers, then again when the high scores of him and Todd Rogers were being disputed.
Bill seems to be an inspiration for this whole network of professional gaming we have now. Because of him, so many people over the past decade and a half have been convinced that "being great at games" is a real career. What they don't know is he also has hot sauce, restaurants, suits and ties, mugs, and other things he maintains in addition to gaming. He got his scores long ago and hasn't had the WR for any popular game in quite some time, at least for the past 15-20 years or so. Cheaters like him being defended due to preferential treatment, such as DownTimeDeath on LTTP, is reason enough to not play that particular game and choose a less popular one to send a message, but otherwise, in spite of past accomplishments and on-going success, he was going to be small potatoes, old news, well past his prime, and Karl inadvertently made him richer and more popular than he's been in decades.
Karl's legacy will be beating some of The-Elite's longest-standing Agent WRs (the shortest easiest difficulty being the most optimized naturally, so it's still impressive) but not much else. No noteworthy business ventures other than being a clickbait youtuber, nowhere near the same iconicity, and instead of six figure salaries, he's making quite the opposite.
Many speedrunners are like Karl. It's a hobby/profession that isn't taken seriously because it's done by manchildren who are okay with cheating (as long as your besties do it) are horrible at actually managing their time (which I thought was an important skill in speedrunning) and their glitch discoveries haven't done anything to actually make the game industry better at QA, only making classic games less fun for themselves and worse-looking to newcomers. I have the feeling lots of speedrunners are going to leave and lots of viewers are going to lose interest because of this trial, or if more like it happen.

It's worth pointing out that, alongside Barnstormer, his Youtube channel has videos of Dragster on it.
These are two games that are commonly associated with Todd Rogers, a peer of Billy who's also well known for retro gaming cheating scandals, and was covered by a lot of the same channels that also covered Billy.
They're basically the Todd equivalent of Donkey Kong to Billy. They're games that people pulled apart to prove that Todd was a cheater. Todd's basically a retard (actually accepted invitations to try and prove his fake achievements were real and made it even more clear that he's full of shit) and doesn't have the smarts, clout, or money that Billy seems to, and he basically fell off the face of the earth after some failed lawsuit attempts, but from the look of things, Ersatz might've had it out for Todd at some point, but it just never really reached the same level since Todd pretty much got destroyed.

That's what makes Billy's character so marketable and newsworthy. The articles of "Donkey Kong Champion" with Billy giving a thumbs up in his outfit tickles the memberberries of your 60+ year old grandparents reading the headline on their facebook. Reminds them when they were 16-25 when Donkey Kong and Pacman were all the rage, mullets were in style, individuals like Hulk Hogan or Chuck Norris were the cornerstone of American culture. His appearance and attitude is a zeitgeist of that time period.
This is what speed autists can't comprehend why Billy is getting these riveting headlines from the verdict of the courtcase, while treating Jobst as this pathetic nobody "youtuber" He's the jobber rando in the ring saying outrageous statements in front of a jeering crowd, meanwhile Vince McMahon is in the backstage instructing the BILLYMANIA to rush out into the ring and bodyslam the fuck out of him.

there was never been another lawsuit, there is only 1 lawsuit which is the apollo legend defamation, the other 2 was new notice of concern, which are basically cease and desists letters. Either Karl is stupid and thought that notice of concern are lawsuits, or being a mischievous deviant and misrepresenting the letters he got as getting served lawsuit letters to gain sympathy to fleece more money from his supporters

I can't quote Princess Rescuer's post but I wanted to point out that there is no proof that Billy "cheated" his scores. The only thing envious retards have proven is that he submitted scores set on MAME to the leader boards reserved for arcade hardware.
It hasn't been proven to any degree that the scores set were spliced, save states or whatever other underhanded methods are used in MAME. Hell, even the so-called "barrel luck" he supposedly got was inconclusive since the guy who currently holds the record (by 200,000 more points) and a guy who had less points than Billy both had better "barrel luck".
Personally, I think he had someone mod a cabinet that could play multiple games all in one and the guy who put it together used MAME. Billy likely didn't question it and went about his merry way, playing in his spare time without having to swap boards around (something he states he doesn't know how to do).
Basically, I think he submitted MAME scores through being naive about his favorite arcade cabinet, not through some troontastic conspiracy about his malicious scandal to keep his scores on top as part of his drug money laundering and child sex trafficking operation.
