A 16-year-old track athlete was killed during a championship meet Wednesday morning in Texas by a member of another team, officials said.

Frisco Police confirmed the student-athlete died "despite lifesaving measures." The suspect, 17-year-old Karmelo Anthony, has been charged with first-degree murder.

A student from Frisco Memorial was the victim, according to local reports. Frisco Memorial Principal Brook Fesco wrote in an email obtained by Fox News Digital that Austin Metcalf, a junior at the school, had died Wednesday.

The incident occurred at about 10 a.m. at Kuykendall Stadium at the University Interscholasic League's District 11-5A championship meet. Anthony attends Frisco Centennial, roughly 7 miles away from Frisco Memorial.

According to the Frisco Independent School District, the meet was suspended shortly after the incident. The ISD added that the stadium "was immediately secured, and students were released and sent back to their home campus on FISD buses with expediency."

In her email, Fesco said the school "will acknowledge Austin’s death during 2nd period and will offer support throughout the day," adding counselors would be available.

"As a parent, your guidance and support will be important in helping your child process grief. Talking about this together, face-to-face, will give you a chance to discuss how your family understands and copes with loss. You may also want to discuss with your child how to be a supportive friend to classmates," Fesco wrote. "This loss might remind your student of past losses as well. The most important thing you can do is provide your child a chance to be heard and to express their feelings."

"The Frisco Police Department grieves with all those affected by this devastating loss and extends its deepest condolences to the victim’s family, students, and staff who are experiencing unimaginable pain," the department said in a statement. "The department is collaborating with the Frisco Independent School District and will continue to provide any support they need during this incredibly difficult time."

Metcalf, who also played football at the school, participated in both the boys shot put and discus events earlier in the day, with threw distances of 39 feet, 9¾ inches and 86 feet, 4 inches, respectively.

Anthony ran the boys' 100-meter dash in 12.38 seconds and was scheduled to compete in the long jump.

Eight schools competed at the meet, according to MileSplit.

According to the police report (witness statement) the victim "grabbed" Anthony; it can be argued - and most probably will be by Anthony's attorney - that this constituted provocation. In any case, what the other poster was claiming was that Anthony provoked the situation; I pointed out that there is no evidence for this.
To make myself clear, I'm not defending Anthony. I'm merely trying to point out that making shit up and presenting it as fact (smearing the victim) is exactly what the shitstains contributing to Anthony's crowdfunding are doing. tl;dr don't act like a nigger - stick to the facts, they're damning enough.

"Touch me and see what happens"
Then Anthony told Austin to punch him and see what happens.

(4) if the actor provoked the other's use or attempted use of unlawful force, unless:

(A) the actor abandons the encounter, or clearly communicates to the other his intent to do so reasonably believing he cannot safely abandon the encounter; and

He invited the attack and did not attempt to abandon or flee the encounter OR express to Austin he wanted to exit the situation verbally.

The county is only 10% black and the white people and Indians there are super racist.

Hehe never doubt the self hating whites and some spineless cuck Indians to cuck out.

(b) The use of force against another is not justified:

(1) in response to verbal provocation alone;
(2) to resist an arrest or search that the actor knows is being made by a peace officer, or by a person acting in a peace officer's presence and at his direction, even though the arrest or search is unlawful, unless the resistance is justified under Subsection (c);

The shitbag lawyers will absolutely argue "self defense" and that "he was about to be LYNCHED BY THAT WHYTE DEVIL"

YEP. Remember, the absolute worst that the shitbag can be sentenced to life with parole after 40.

I'll bet he gets ~50 years and is out at 27-30 years. Plenty of time to enjoy life.... Fucking disgusting

Do these niggers realize they're gonna owe taxes? lmao
Im not an USA tax expert but donations supposed to be tax free ? Probably there is a limit question is for the lump-sum or individual... Because niggers raised that kind of money by $ 5-10-100 individual donations from shit ton of donors...

Can you just read the police report before making yourself sound more like an idiot?

AI slop post because I'm eating a sandwich with my other hand:

What happens when a family solicits “legal‑defense” donations but spends them on a house, clothes, etc.?

  • Tax angle (IRS)
    • If donors were knowingly giving a no‑strings “gift,” the money is still nontaxable to the family under §102(a) even if they blow it on a McMansion.
    • If the family raised the cash under false pretenses (“every penny will pay lawyers”) then the funds are illegal income—taxable the year received under James v. United States, 366 U.S. 213 (1961). Failure to report → tax‑evasion or false‑return charges. Justia Law
    • Platforms will usually file Form 1099‑K once receipts exceed $600; you still must disclose why it’s nontaxable (or treat it as Schedule C income if it isn’t). IRS
  • Criminal fraud exposure
    • Misrepresenting the use of funds is classic wire‑fraud / money‑laundering territory (20 yrs max each). See the GoFundMe homeless‑vet scam ($400 k, prison terms) and the “We Build the Wall” case against Steve Bannon & Brian Kolfage ($25 M, indictments and recent guilty plea). ABC7 New YorkPolitico
    • State consumer‑protection and charitable‑solicitation laws also apply; Attorneys General can freeze accounts, seize the house, force restitution, and bar future fundraising.
  • Civil liability
    • Donors can sue for fraud, conversion, unjust enrichment, or breach of an implied trust. Courts can impose constructive trusts on the house/clothes and order the assets sold to repay donors.
    • Class actions are common when thousands of small donors are involved.
  • Regulatory issues
    • In many states, soliciting for “charitable” or “public‑benefit” causes without registering triggers fines—even if you’re a private person.
    • If the family set up a 501(c)(3) or (c)(4) to collect the money, using it for personal benefit risks loss of tax‑exempt status, intermediate‑sanctions excise taxes (IRC §4958), and personal liability for directors.
  • Best‑practice takeaway (for anyone considering a legit defense fund)
    • Use a dedicated trust or escrow that pays lawyers directly.
    • Publish audited statements.
    • Keep donor‑disclosure language crystal‑clear (“funds may be used for family living expenses” vs. “100 % to legal fees”).

Here's the thing about the Basketball-American community you need to understand: they don't give a shit about war heroes, successful businessmen, doctors, lawyers, church leaders, or anything most people would consider positive for their people and community. Those people prove that anyone can make a good life for themselves with hard work and determination. That goes against the victim complex that the American Negro has shrouded himself with and puts the accountability and responsibility for their poor lives on themselves. So they lionize the absolute worst kinds of people as their "heroes". Gang bangers, drug pushers, pimps, rappers, ratchet skanks, celebrities...all worthless people who at best contribute NOTHING to the rest of society, or at worst do harm to society. No wonder they find Caramello, or whatever this faggot nigger's name is, as being someone to support and help. Just Nigger things.
IOW, they hate sellouts. It really sucks we’re not getting that Boondocks reboot.

Probably yes, but not certainly yes. Problem is, the police report - which seems to be the only hard evidence available right now - is really light on detail. For example, there's no record in it of any verbatim statement by the victim. No explanation for why Anthony was there in the first place. So people are reading all sorts of things into these very basic facts, which I know is inevitable, but then they're presenting this speculation as fact. Anthony is guilty as sin, there's no doubt, but all making shit up does is cast doubt on the validity of actual evidence.

Grabbed how? There is a world of difference between grabbing someone do to harm vs firmly escorting someone.

I hate the fact that there are multiple scenarios where this shit bag walks.
I can think of 2.

The black judge that let him out gets the case.
If that happens he should opt for a bench trial.
"He put hands on me. I knew that meant all the whites would gang up and lynch me because that's what they do to us blacks millions of times every year."
The judge says not guilty and they twerk their way out of the court room.

If he gets a white judge his lawyer will argue "a jury of one's peers" means an all black jury.
If that happens he walks.
If there is one black on the jury he doesn't get convicted, evidence be damned.
"Dey be too many black boys in da prisons already. How's can I put anudder one dere?" is a common retort from black jury members that refuse to convict.

How many times will they be willing to take him to trial?
If there are any blacks in the prosecutors office they probably think Karmelo should walk.
It only takes one brainwashed white to hang a jury.
Sadly there is no shortage of them.

I am not saying that he will walk.
It is just infuriating that it is even a possibility.
It is already infuriating that the death penalty and life without parole are off the table.

Thank you. Really and truly, thank you. You've expressed my point much better than I did - afaik the only evidence of the crime presented so far (please correct me if I'm wrong) is the two witness statements in the police report. Both lack a lot of detail so don't give any answers to "grabbed how," or to a lot of other questions like that one. The second witness statement doesn't even say "grabbed" at all; it only says that the victim pushed Anthony. It's potentially a very interesting case from a variety of angles and a lot of bullshit, propaganda, manipulation, etc., etc. is going to be generated by it - I think it's important to stick to the facts and not be swayed by emotional arguments from either side until there's something concrete to back them up.

Their spending spree is also because they want to bankrupt themselves on purpose before their son gets hit with a wrongful death civil suit for six or seven figures. They are renting houses and cars so that if they get sued they don't actually own anything and can tell the court "we are in debt your honor and don't have money to give to that dead kid's family".
These are niggers though. They can’t think that far ahead. Indeed, their present oriented thinking is something that has been researched and is/was part of physician and nurse training.

And let’s not forget this old post which is supported by what I just posted
Ever wondered why niggers do stuff that is so obviously stupid? Time does not exist to the nigger, there is only the present, the now. A cop yells, "do not run I will [in the future] shoot!" This phrase is meaningless to the nigger. In the nigger's mind he has two choices: be detained by the cops, or run and be free. That the cop will start shooting 5 seconds into the future is incomprehensible to the nigger. Niggers are living in a science fiction parallel universe where there is no continuity with themselves 15-seconds into the future.

As a White man you think you are still you 15-seconds in the future, not so to the nigger. The nigger sees no relation to himself 15-seconds in the future, it is a completely different person. Their interests are unrelated if not opposed.Once you understand that a nigger cares as much about himself 15-seconds into the future as you do about some random nigger, all of a sudden all a nigger's decisions makes sense. Why go into obscene amounts of debt for some chrome rims? Some other random nigger will have to pay it back instead of you. Why rape some random White girl? Some other random nigger will go to jail not you. Etc. Niggers are literally free of all consequences for their actions as they've broken the cause effect chain through nigger magic.
