Because it was. He was trying to get Billy to sue him, and thought he would say some outrageous shit like this thinking it couldn’t be disproven and is speculation…problem is, it was disproven because Billy never took a dime from him and Karl just couldn’t take the L.

The most deceptive thing about Karl including that deposition is he doesn't mention that it's a deposition in an entirely different case taking place in an entirely different hemisphere. The way he presents it, you'd think that was Billy Mitchell being deposed for THIS lawsuit. It's actually from Billy Mitchell being questioned about the Twin Galaxies lawsuit.

Why would a judge in an Australian lawsuit take into consideration an out of context question from an unrelated deposition from a lawsuit on the other side of the planet? Did Karl Jobst submit that deposition for consideration in his own lawsuit?

Nobody ever explained why Apollo backed out of the lawsuit back in the day. His material seemed pretty solid, and if I remember correctly, Billy had his original DK world record removed later on. I can understand that people where somewhat upset about Apollo because of this and started rumors and gossips, as this is always the case when people are left in the dark.

I'm pretty sure Rekeita's record is holding fast. Karl's kinda a big deal in sped-running/gaming; but Rekeita was a legit pioneer and had a lot more going for him. I don't remember the exact words; but during the Rittenhouse trial, he ended one stream by saying something like "We got a whole [insert car here] of super chats!" Because it was something like $30,000 in super chats for that day, just that day. Rekeita was part of the Johnny Depp trial documentary and was legitimately making big moves. Karl was just a sped-runner on YouTube.

It'll have to be a monumental fuckup to break Nick's record.
