Asexual has become a spectrum. What was once a word to describe someone who has no interest in sex now ranges from total lack of a libido to having sex occasionally to in a full blown relationship with regular intimacy but don’t experience romantic feelings(aromantic). Like non-binary it’s mostly young women who identify as asexual.

I can buy that there are people whose brains don't work and they're literally not interested in sex in any way shape or form, since there are people who are really, really oversexual.
