Reminds me of that golf scene from Falling Down.

It indicates maps in the US, which is interesting. I wonder if they'll have a campaign or just ditch it again. I know dice has never been great at campaigns, And honestly if it meant more content for multiplayer, I wouldn't mind if they just didn't include one, but it would be nice to have some kind of PVE co-op mode or something. After Battlefield 4 their campaigns just went downhill really bad into pure tutorials.

One of the concept art depicted a Middle Eastern country based on the Arabic writing and Yemen flag obstructed by graffiti. So far, I'm impressed with the direction the next Battlefield is going with large scale conflicts and its settings. I'm guessing it's going back to modern warfare with the Middle East and the US.

I cannot wait for the trial to come out on EA Play to actually try it out. No way I'm paying full price for any game.

It looks more like the Iraqi flag. Some of the base uniforms from @Blackstar's post have the old-style bowl helmets that the Iraqis would be wearing.

Mid-east combined with American settings is an interesting choice. I'm curious to see what the story is.
Optimistically, it could be going back to the BF2 story, where the MEC invaded America somehow.

I think you're right. I see green text in the middle of the flag design. Why does the Middle East use the same colors for that?

I know Russia or Ukraine is persona non grata now because of current events.

One thing I'd like to see return from 2042 is the weather affecting the maps. It was a good idea poorly executed. Hell, maybe even have the option to enable or disable it for custom servers.

I don't know the random tornados could be annoying. I don't know why these games don't implement dynamic time of day and weather. Maybe blinding lens flares is part of the map design, but it'd be cool to be playing a round and the sun sets and it becomes a night map.

Things like levelution have always kind of be half assed. Then they just forget about implementing for the DLCs. Paracel Storm has a rain storm, loud noises and then it just fades away as if nothing is different.

It seems like every Battlefield has a gimmick. You can tell if it is forgotten over time. BC2: Modern Combat had the player switch mechanic for its single player. Was it competing with SOCOM at the time? BF3 had the Scavenger mode where you had to find ammo and weapons. BF4 had Levolution with the falling skyscraper on Siege of Shanghai. Hardline had competitive 5v5 that barely lasted a year. Bad Company 1 & 2 had the goofy, B-company military subversion. V had the female soldiers and a build-a-cover mechanic, I forgot the official name. Attrition or something? 2042 had specialists and climate change with the weather. What would this Battlefield have?

Looks like over correction to me, destruction never was much from one rocket you usually had to open holes and then thing would come down. Even The Finals retains that old style of deconstruction instead of this one and done.

All these leaks are too good to be true and then have been pussyfooting over the server browser topic. You can have everything but if they dont have a server browser its gonna be dead all these leaks are just made to appeal to reddit request lists

>oooo more destruction
>oooo modern combat

Classes are back but I hope to god they dont bring back the "every class gets every weapon" shit either it needs restrictions but I already dislike the leaked class structure. I just feel like this games gonna be halo infinite they finally do everything of what people asked for but utterly fuck up everything else on the backend.

Fuck it, Let's go full michael bay. I'd rather have destruction go ham than being castrated from previous games.

I read on Twitter that apparently browser's going to be only for Portal, we can only hope that it's either not true or DICE will change it.
