People reuse passwords, People use Passwords for years, People click on links, Peoples credit unions get breached or target of what ever and that information never goes away.

Will that gain me access? Most likely no, It will trigger MFA or IP blocks or Geolocation or Mac IDs or a million other things.

Already self describing as DevSecOps and bragging about certifications made my eyes roll so hard they almost fell out onto the floor. DevSecOps is such a fucking bullshit meme and a braindead retards can readily collect certificates like candy so it's hardly a brag.

Anyway he is correct giving Global Admin rights to a bunch of randoms is a really terrible idea. I don't even support admins having it in my organization as it's such a powerful role. Well-defined RBACs are always preferable to GA and only break-glass accounts should have GA in my opinion.

That being said I do note Mr. Security Expert seems to be using a non-PAM user to access Azure in one of his screenshots which just seems paint-eating retarded. Could be somewhat excused if it turns out it's just out of convenience and his day-to-day account just has read-only privileges.

The substance of the document seems to be: "We gave these DOGE retards GA rights and a lot of weird things started happening."

He notes someone fucked with their Conditional Access policies, but it seems he has no idea how it actually happened or who did it. (Activity Log didn't show anything?) In addition SAS tokens were generated for Storage Accounts which were shortlived, but he seems to have no idea for what purpose, what was done with them and who generated the tokens. The author leans on the power of the GA user and suggests that DOGE cast a spell to make all the logs disappear. Essentially weird shit happened, he doesn't have logs but he's just pinning it on them based on the logic of that being the most recent significant change.

Interestingly the biggest claim (Muh Russia) has absolutely no evidence backing it up in Exhibit B. The anomalous PowerShell activity is also retardedly truncated right where it might actually show some useful information too. Why couldn't he enable wrapping in Excel before taking his photo?

Whole thing screams gay op to me. He has like 3 screenshots showing the same information from his Palo Alto NGFW but nothing from the DOGE user's blocked sign ins. Also: Why didn't he log into the Palo and view the session data from there? Those things do layer 7 inspection and have searchable flow data which could at least give some hints as to what passed through it, but there's nothing presented here.

He points to packet captures no longer running, but all that does is essentially dump flow data into a Storage Account. It's nice to have, but technically you don't even really need it if you're running something like a Palo Alto as it has its own separate logging. The only way DOGE could sabotage the Palo's logging is to entirely bypass it, which evidently they did not since he shows the traffic passed through the Palo's interface.

The document itself is so badly written and confusing it leads me to believe this guy is chasing after ghosts and does not have the requisite knowledge to figure out whether it's DOGE, Microsoft incompetence, or Jeets within his organization fucking things up. Based on the mention of various Jeet names in the document, I'm starting to suspect poo-stained hands were involved in this.

It's also a bit weird that he claims to have formerly held a TS/SCI and worked as a glowie, but now he's working at the NLRB? Once people get clearances they usually stay in cleared jobs, because the jobs generally pay more and contractors are always looking for people who are already cleared. Yeah I'm leaning towards gay op as well. The whole thing makes no sense, especially the Russian logins within minutes using correct passwords. So these hackers are competent enough to be sitting on the doge staffer's devices collecting creds in real time, but are simultaneously dumb enough to not even bother proxying their login attempts through a US VPS?
