They have included a list of products originating in China which, as you can expect, is basically everything they sell.

If they were trying to attract /jp/ kids and actual casual JP fans who are already invested in Holo on the JP side, sure. Biboo's the best choice for the 'western' audience. Did you never watch old streams of memer shark?

That's who they're pushing, Bijuou more recently. Those three have obvious cartoon appeal, like real-life Sanrio characters (not Gudetama).
I think they're pulling a Mumei & Fauna on Ceci & Gigi, neglecting the best thing they have because it's somewhat culturally alien. They did realize that Raden is great, even though she's a misfit, so someone in there is smart about "growth." The EN side doesn't seem to have that guy. They hire well but then nothing much happens.

I think Cover learned their lesson, and instead of pushing one megastar, they're dividing Gura's "tasks" into multiple V-Tubers, having one breakout talent give everything ended up with an extreme amount of pressure and expectative laid onto Gura, which ended up causing...all of this.

Right now there are merch sellers (FWMC, IRyS, Ina), CCV stars (Bijou, Cecilia, Gigi), V-Singers (Mori), each one of them taking on Gura's roles.

As both branches attended this years Holofes and interacted. Before that, Rikka and Rio did an Armis collab on Monster Hunter Wilds.
On the topic of those selfie pictures of Shondo: Didn't those pictures were already found and posted on this thread years ago or no? I could've sworn that one point when the discussion was on Shondo, someone here went digging and found an account with those selfies linking back to her.

Yeah I call rrat on that bit as well StarsJP has....... never kept separate and very shortly after debut I remember them putting together a big collab to introduce them to the holostars JP server with even Oga joining in who never plays MC because it makes him motion sick.

Pair that with Rio always being close with the EN boys, and big collabs leading to things like the now infamous batsu game making the EN boys tweet out pictures of their underwear, which led to a full /vt/ meltdown when Kronii replied to Vesper's tweet. and then culminating in this

The only nugget of truth I see there is "the JP manager wasn't consulted" but I never saw or heard anything about him being angry about that and It just means that Stars JP and Stars EN are managed separately, which is the same as things are on the girl's side as well, nothing surprising.

What I would say is that Holostars EN, outside of Axel, suffers from there just not being members that speak much if any Japanese which limits their ineractions with their JP senpai, and outside of Rio, there aren't a lot of the JP stars that are super confident in doing collabs over the langauge barrier the way we see folks like Towa more than happy to do on the girl's side.
