So Null's justification for letting the rapefugees in is akin to the "we need immigrants or X country will not survive" line you've heard advocates and politicians saying for the past 15 years. While it is true that KF is small, supplementing the forum with members of a failing imageboard is not a good idea.

I was a hardcore migufag myself but Yotsuba winning was so funny that I didn't even care. I followed the manga so I had some forewarning, after the Scrambled Eggs arc I started smelling the bait and stopped taking it seriously. Half the fun after that was seeing the animeonlies' reactions because they were more discreet about the twist. Personally I learned my lesson with Haganai to not get too invested in a romcom, I was seething for days after the ending.

I'm split on the generals. In a way they're the discussion room for a currently airing series, and they are easier to troll. On the other hand it's cancer that's plaguing the board.
The PSG ending was legendary, I have a screencap of the thread highlights lying around somewhere. Completely forgot Yahari, that's an /a/ classic right there.

I was going through the archives. The seethe and cope I can see in the threads look amazing. Personally I don't try to engorge myself in RomComs anymore as I've generally grown out of them, but I don't know what it was but it fucking stinged finishing it. Something I genuinely haven't felt in a long time. One thing I am glad about after watching the show is getting a chance to listening to the openings, those are absloute fire in the gym.

Yahari threads were an absloute beast of their own. I could deal with the Yui and Yukinon fags (helped I was one of them), but Irohafags where just another breed of delusional. The below sums up the episode threads quite well during the Season 2 hype train & Genuine episode.

I like to think of KF as a glorified tabloid (in an endearing way) that actually has sources back up what is being discussed, and a host of general boards to discuss non-'celebrity' topics, in a sort of similar fashion to what you'd get out of the boards you're used to. Kiwi is also, as was pointed out, one of the single most misunderstood sites on the entire internet.

Same. I would get bored of /mlp/ on slower weeks and venture off to other boards, but I'd always return because I need cute ponies in my life and the amount of asinine derailing I come across.

I miss those days, the closest you get to romcom slop nowadays is Rent A Girlfriend or some random Isekai.
There's a single exception though, and that's Hyakkano. While it's a romcom it's a canonical harem (well more like a cult), the threads have a similar chaotic energy to them. It doesn't help that the author is a schizo that feeds into the chaos and all of the characters are lunatics in their own way.
I pop in every now and then to check in on the threads for a fun time during the drier parts of the year.

The only boards I seldomly visited were /int/ and /his/, the former for language interchange and the latter because some threads were legitimately interesting and the people there were pretty good at debating. It was full of /pol/niggers though.
