Pretty long video but the guy goes over how British ads are propaganda. It reminded of some reddit thread I saw years ago at this point where they analyzed all the Super Bowl ads and even redditors came to the same conclusion as this guy, that there's a weird over-representation of black male/white female relationships. I haven't watched commercials in a long time but I'm assuming it's still like that in US media as well. I linked the video at an ad for army recruitment ad which is insane.

One trend I have seen in "social justice" is claiming that women being appealing to male sexuality is "sexist", and "stuck in the past" as well. I notice several things with such "logic": one normally does not see the same claim with men appealing to female sexuality (of course not with appealing to homosexuality), it implies that history has to be a one-way linear path of progress with the newer always being better than the older, and that that "ideal" future is no sex distinctions (sounds like a UFO cult somehow).

Which she tries to undermine by pointing out that it wasn't just black people they kept as slaves.

I couldn't watch the full video but she's pretty full bore on exactly the language of any round of Oppression Olympics where the rules are if I am more oppressed than you then all the normal rules go out the window and you have to kow tow. I especially enjoyed her stating that normally black people can create spaces for themselves to discuss racial matters but not when it comes to Palestinians calling them slurs.

They’ll say “your ancestors were shitting in buckets and throwing it in the streets” to make it sound like your lineage is nothing but white trash, but then they’ll also say your ancestors were rich slave-owning monsters. It’s important to remember that they don’t have coherent views on any of these things; they just hate white people and will find any avenue they can to express it. The contradictions exist because they don’t want to outright just say that
