A 16-year-old track athlete was killed during a championship meet Wednesday morning in Texas by a member of another team, officials said.

Frisco Police confirmed the student-athlete died "despite lifesaving measures." The suspect, 17-year-old Karmelo Anthony, has been charged with first-degree murder.

A student from Frisco Memorial was the victim, according to local reports. Frisco Memorial Principal Brook Fesco wrote in an email obtained by Fox News Digital that Austin Metcalf, a junior at the school, had died Wednesday.

The incident occurred at about 10 a.m. at Kuykendall Stadium at the University Interscholasic League's District 11-5A championship meet. Anthony attends Frisco Centennial, roughly 7 miles away from Frisco Memorial.

According to the Frisco Independent School District, the meet was suspended shortly after the incident. The ISD added that the stadium "was immediately secured, and students were released and sent back to their home campus on FISD buses with expediency."

In her email, Fesco said the school "will acknowledge Austin’s death during 2nd period and will offer support throughout the day," adding counselors would be available.

"As a parent, your guidance and support will be important in helping your child process grief. Talking about this together, face-to-face, will give you a chance to discuss how your family understands and copes with loss. You may also want to discuss with your child how to be a supportive friend to classmates," Fesco wrote. "This loss might remind your student of past losses as well. The most important thing you can do is provide your child a chance to be heard and to express their feelings."

"The Frisco Police Department grieves with all those affected by this devastating loss and extends its deepest condolences to the victim’s family, students, and staff who are experiencing unimaginable pain," the department said in a statement. "The department is collaborating with the Frisco Independent School District and will continue to provide any support they need during this incredibly difficult time."

Metcalf, who also played football at the school, participated in both the boys shot put and discus events earlier in the day, with threw distances of 39 feet, 9¾ inches and 86 feet, 4 inches, respectively.

Anthony ran the boys' 100-meter dash in 12.38 seconds and was scheduled to compete in the long jump.

Eight schools competed at the meet, according to MileSplit.

I don't think knife vs hands is the issue, self defence isn't supposed to be a fair duel. If Austin was assaulting Anthony throwing punches and bashing him around, then the stabbing in self defence would be appropriate. The problem is that Austin didn't do that. He "grabbed" and "shoved" him trying to get Anthony away from his team's space.
It had to be fair in the sense that it has to be proportional. Nondeadly force to meet nondeadly force, deadly force to meet deadly force.

From what I've read, Metcalf was a big dude. Disparity of size is significant when evaluating if an attack was deadly force or not, since the assumption is that a smaller defender cannot sufficiently defend himself from a larger attacker, and the attack can turn deadly.

Or, disparity of numbers, if the two twins were ganging up on him, that's absolutely a deadly force threat. It's not Hollywood, one person cannot sufficiently defend against two or more assailants. In fact I remember a case in Raleigh High School where one dude got jumped by a mob and he got out alive by stabbing people. Granted he was charged with murder, but I don't know the final outcome of that and if I was on the jury I'd acquit.

As you said, though, we have no evidence that Metcalf offered any threats of deadly nature. At most he committed simple assault/battery when he put his hands on Anthony.

Floyd taught them well.

Niggers have been doing the "I cayn't breeve" bullshit long before Fentanyl Floyd croaked. Ninety-nine times out of one hundred, it's just a stupid lie they tell because their jiggaboo brains tell them it'll get the police to let them go or something. That's why the cops didn't take Floyd seriously: they hear it dozens of times a week from every other nigger looking to get off the hook. Shit, Floyd started saying it before they even touched him, probably because he was ODing on Fent and Rock. Plus, if you can speak, you can breathe just fine.

It's pretty clear what they're doing and I don't think it's grifting, although I'm sure that's part of the angle. This is a "slam dunk" case as far as the prosecution is concerned. The guy was somewhere he wasn't supposed to be, brought a weapon onto school grounds, and murdered Metcalf in broad daylight in front of multiple witnesses in an unprovoked attack. This is open-and-shut. There is no defense. The only actual defense that they can hope to mount is one where they say that unless Karmelo gets let off, they're going to chimp out like George Floyd and start mobilizing the blacks across the country for this purpose.

That's what they're doing right now, laying the groundwork so when the trial begins the seeds will blossom into protest movements across the country, with the explicit threat that if Karmelo isn't acquitted, we'll get a re-run of the Summer of Love.
They did the same thing with the Chauvin trial. At which point must we ask why we are allowing them to hold society at large hostage?
True, but he chose violence agaisnt the worst kind of person he could've encounter, don't get me wrong Karmelo is most likely to be convicted as a muderer (all testimonies lead to that veredict) but if Austin had instead remain calm and called for the school authorities his murder would have not taken place. You can see this in almost all schools in Asia (Been in both Japan and Korea) which has a much lower rate of violence compared to American schools.
Faggots like you are why we live in this hell.

The school district is filing trespassing charges against one of the pro-victim protestors who went inside the stadium where the murder occurred:

Frisco ISD officials said Saturday night they were in the process of filing charges against a man who said he “broke into” a high school stadium to capture video related to the fatal stabbing at a track meet earlier this month.

In the video shared on X, Jake Lang, a U.S. Senate hopeful from Florida and founder of Protect White Americans, points to a dark streak on the ground near the bleachers of Frisco’s David Kuykendall Stadium and alleges it’s the blood of Austin Metcalf.

Metcalf, 17, was killed at the stadium on April 2 during the District 11-5A track meet.

“I gotta get out of here before the police come,” Lang says in the video. “I just hopped the fence to get in here.” He also wrote in the post containing the video that he “just broke into Kuykendall Stadium.”

The stadium is Frisco ISD’s property. Amanda McCune, a district spokeswoman, told The Dallas Morning News that the district would file trespassing charges. McCune also said the video was not filmed on the side of the stadium where the stabbing occurred.

“The individual in this video is filming on the home side of the stadium,” McCune said. “The incident occurred on the visitor side which can be seen across the field when he turns the camera off himself.”

The News reached out to Frisco police for comment, but did not immediately receive a response. Lang also did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Lang was in Frisco Saturday morning for a protest run by his organization. The protest, according to Lang, was organized to rally around the death of Metcalf.

The protest also called for Karmelo Anthony, the 17-year-old teenager who is facing a murder charge in connection to the stabbing, to be “put back in prison until trial.” Anthony’s initial $1-million bond was lowered on Monday to $250,000 by a judge who considered factors such as his age, ties to the community and lack of criminal history. Anthony’s bond conditions require him to wear an ankle monitor, remain on house arrest and be with an adult at all times.

Lang has called Metcalf a symbol of a “violent Black culture” being perpetrated against white America. Anthony is Black. Metcalf was white.

In a heated exchange over speakerphone during Saturday’s protest, Jeff Metcalf, Austin Metcalf’s father, condemned Lang.

“You’re trying to create more race divide than bridging the gap,” Jeff Metcalf told Lang. “I do not condone anything you do.”

Lang, who was accused of participating in the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol riot, was pardoned earlier this year by President Donald Trump while awaiting prosecution. He is running to fill the Florida Senate seat vacated by Marco Rubio after he was appointed U.S. Secretary of State.

The school district also covered up the murderer's earlier violent behavior. Glad to see their priorities are in order.

Jesus stirred up Israel and insulted and berated and created divides against the traitor ruling class of the time for far less than being unrepentant murderers. It's sad how many people have listened to the words of thugs and criminals over the word of God. No pull to love just pushed away from their fear of alienating violent thugs who hate and will target him anyway. Difference between forgiving and condoning and Austin's cuck dad is condoning. His pretense of love just shows he loves evil not God not his son and not mankind.

I knew this rally was going to be a bust, even if it was a kike op. You cannot get White people to rally for their own race, they absolutely fucking refuse to do it. It's so God damned blackpilling to see this same shit over and over again. At least the kike is on video calling Austin's dad a bitch.

You cannot get White people to rally for their own race, they absolutely fucking refuse to do it.

I guess some 60 years of being taught you’re the worst thing to happen to the planet will do that to a race. They’re programmed to ignore every statistic, every act of aggression, and even their lying eyes to not be considered a “bad person” in the eyes of people who hate them.

I think a lot of them really do see things as they are, but they have to tread lightly around each other because they’ll get thrown under the bus if they say the wrong thing to the wrong white person.

@Ghostse I found a journal article that tries speculates why they stopped* writing.
One, practicality, as there was no paper/papyrus, and leaves rotted quickly.
Two, it restricted information to only experts, people who would be fucked by social unrest.
Three, memory experts sent from the capital kept history and cultural traditions standardised.
There was also reduced need for a universal system of writing. The Inca had an empire the size of a Eurasian empire, but it was really split into 4 parts and local nobles had incredible autonomy so it wasn't truly centrally managed. This is why parts of the empire still held out for almost a century after the Spanish started in on them. With no intra-emprire river network and no true pack animals (they did have llamas and alpaca, but thye were mostly food and fiber, they couldn't carry weight like a horse or camel) there was no multi-month and in some cases multi-year caravans bringing the ingredients for Bronze to manage. So business was done face-to-face or with agents you regularly interfaced with. You were doing business with people you could interface with directly. If you were trading outside of the Inca, you would just use those people's writing if it was needed.

Everything was a reasonably short trip from a capital so there just wasn't a need for written messages since you could send a runner and get that same runner back in a reasonable time.

The inca also build their empire on conquest, and living in the mountains made defense almost trivial until the Spanish brought gunpowder, so the plebes were oppressed and the rulers very secure. So the rule of law was "Whatever the Ruler says right now" and sort of like the Hindu Brahmans, anything that doesn't allow them to do that is bad.

Also, unlike the Aztecs where they were in an extremely calorie-poor area, always one less-that-expected harvest from famine, so requiring autistic weather & celestial tracking, the Inca were in a fairly prosperous region with rainforest tributaries so no complex mathematics to track the heavens were needed.

All this is to say that individual Inca did have primative forms of visual communication, but it was local. There was just no need for a universal system, and decent pressure to stop its development, so it never materialized.

I am and apparently Im one of the few who know how to read because everyone seems to completely ignore one part of the 2nd amendment or the other, fatass boomers think the 2nd amendment is only there so you can post their AR enblazed with punisher stickers and "molon labe", on facebook with the t hashtag, Fuck Around and Find Out. While retarded liberals think "regulate" means literal government regulations and completely ignore the last half of the amendment. At least liberals self-select themselves out of the militia, meanwhile something needs to he done about those fat faggots who would rather let their guns collect dust in their 10k fireproof gun safe than actually use them to defend their or others freedoms.

Fair enough, I was recalling most of that from memory. The fact that this information came out in a wrongful death suit as opposed to a criminal trial still makes my original point for me even if I was wrong about the circumstances.

And its not a "might makes right" thing. Its about being a well-regulated member of the militia, if you arent, you dont deserve to have rights. We already do this with criminals they have proven they cant be a well regulated member of the militia so we disenfranchise them and strip them of some of their rights. Why cant we do that with fatass boomers?
I'm a Brit who thinks America and Americans fascination with guns goes a lil too far at times and even I'm sickened by you.
