Decided to check bluesky for the consensus there on idubbbz. Looks like fairly split, with a lean towards idubbbz over Ethan though for sure. Not a very active website though, scrolling for about 5 minutes in the "idubbbz" mentions had me to ones made several days ago, but on X I was only to get about 30 mins back.

I found this interesting. Unsure if true, but very well could be.

Ian (originally typed Ethan because I’m a fucking retard) is more like a rattlesnake that got everything remotely scary about it surgically removed. Its teeth are gone, its ability to make any venom is totally gone, and its rattlers got torn off a long time ago. It also has whatever the snake equivalent of aids is. He’s 1 step away from just being some skin another snake molted off. And the worst part is that that snakes believes it’s better for it.

Hasan and Anissa are running around showing that dying animal to people telling them it’s still scary and it’s gonna bite them and kill them. And when it tried to bite Ethan didn’t didn’t even leave a mark.

people in this thread talk a lot about therapy and therapy junkies like Anissa, which I get and agree with, but I also just think Jean Luc Toyota is a terrible fucking therapist. This guy is a dumb asshole who 100% has convinced Ian that this is all a good thing and is part of him maturing and becoming a heckin empath.

I have seen 2 therapists before, both of which were during a very tough time in my life. Without going into too much detail, the first one was a smug prick who didn’t help me at all while the second one actually took the time to understand what was going on and actually make me challenge the way I looked at life.

My point is, different therapists are better than others. Anissa likes Jean-Luc Toyota because he validates her and tells her she’s doing a good heckin job. Not because he’s a good therapist. Also, his therapy ain’t working. Look at Anissa right now and tell me this man’s methods aren’t bullshit.

Checkout the above screenshot on a recent twitter post where she posted a couple photo with Ian and someone complimented them both. Anisa responds by just making it about her. Every couple photo I've seen, by a normal couple, that recieves a compliment for both people, the girlfriend will almost always confirm and reiterate the compliment about her boyfriend. But narcissistic Anisa can only think about herself, brushing aside Ian.

It's obvious Anisa doesn't care about Ian at all, he's just like one of her tattoos, to be used for clout and internet asspats.

Ian was never the rattlesnake. He had the rattle sure, but never the venom. He did have a bite no doubt.
And honestly? his rattle was his fans screaming he had venom. Idk what it's called but the only damage idubbbz ever did was short lived. It was fun, it was great, but it was just gossip of the week.

He’s like a neutered dog now. It reminds me of that one quickly cranked out Idubbbz complains about… dog balls of all things. It really felt like projection about how much he loves huge balls. How convenient that he only showed videos of country white dudes who have unneutered dogs, instead of pointing out that blacks outbreed and out-fight dogs much, much more than some average white dude who owns a few acres of land, and needs multiple dogs to protect their livestock. This “content cop” just goes to show how much of a no-balls pussy Ian became, no scorching remarks making fun of the target, while also claiming that “Ethan’s not THAAAT bad though!” kills any effect it would’ve had. The early content cops hit so hard because he didn’t fucking care and would point shit out about creators that nobody else would’ve.

I watched most of it and I do not think Dr. Honda changed his tune at all.

It appears that he's still 100% supporting Anisa's narrative without any curiosity of why people are upset with him.

It seems like at least 50% of the comments I read are some variation of, "I dare you to get the other side of the story, you should reach out to H3."

The interesting thing about it to me is, if you're a therapist and you're only getting your patient's point of view, how can you trust their view? There's a very real possibility that they're lying to you about the whole situation and being completely unreasonable.

This whole thing has really revealed the flaws of therapy.
