What makes me suspect a hoax is that anyone can make a bunch of environment screenshots in UE5 and fake ads, it's definitely suspecious that we see no creatures or NPCs which are more difficult to make in UE5.

On the other hand it would be strange for Microsoft to not just come out and call out the hoax rather than letting time progress and fans getting more and more upset because they're simply staying quiet

One of the alleged remaster photos prominently displaying the five dollar horse armor DLC is one of the big reasons I think this is a hoax. That's way too on the nose and funny of a joke for Microsoft or Bethesda.

I'd personally rather a mediocre remaster than any new dogshit IP about a fantastical teenager, or to join the Silksong-and-friends tier circlejerking. Not even Elden Ring lived half up to its hype of several years. Nothing can sate gamers these days. They could make the best fucking Morrowind remake imaginable and it'd still not be enough.
