As someone who grew up watching him (and hated him at the time) and only watches WWE a few times a year now, I would actually be interested in watching the retirement tour where he has one more match with Orton, Punk, etc. But if he's going to do like he did tonight and shit the place up on purpose just to try to get heat I have no interest.

I mean, it worked for Foley in ECW - granted it was after the whole “Cane Dewey” bit, but Mic intentionally working as boring of a match as humanly possible got good heat.

Probably the easiest money he ever made.

The difference is this: Tod Gordon and The Wiseman booked ECW to be American FMW and doing a WCW style match is the antithesis to what ECW represents.

I have been in and out over the past 2-3 years as a filthy casual and dipped my toe back in again after Cena turned heel. I’m glad he won, I get the whole “ruining wrestling” bit, but they could have pulled it off better. Dom winning was the highlight of the night. That Raquel Rodriguez looked stiff as fuck in there.

Muh internet smarks is such a retarded cope these days. Its 2025, EVERYONE is on the internet now. 90% of what you see on places like twitter and facebook since HHH took over is completely glazing WWE. But any time there's some negative backlash on something it gets blamed on the evil smark boogeyman. It's the wrestling version of Hollywood jews blaming all negative reviews on alt right chuds.

Look I didn't expect a 15 minute bangerino with more flips per second than a Philippine crossing but I wish Cena's heel act was better. Guy curtsied and left the ring multiple times, and then did his five moves slowly.

There is a chance you may think I have the opposite opinion of what I do...
I think Cena has always sucked in the ring. (He is slightly better at other things but I still don't like him, even now.) I think people who are saying "he was only pretending to be a bad wrestler tonight," are coping. The 5 moves thing has always annoyed me about Cena.

Full disclosure, I didn't watch WrestleMania tonight. I don't have Netflix and streams I used to watch the big events on don't seem to work anymore.

I think to explain further, I don't think you'd have to be a good or a bad wrestler to make a good heel. I'm not saying Hogan was a bad wrestler but his ability to move the crowd in his palm was and is still unmatched, Real American or Hollywood.
It's all up to charisma and energy and I felt Cena completely phoned it in this time. He should have felt spiteful to the crowd and worked them up more. Like he did the "you can't see me" gesture to the crowd near the end, that was nice and I wanted to see more.

Drew took the time in the middle of the match to post a selfie and continue his cocky "bored at work" gimmick he did last wrestlemania, that was infinitely more heelish than anything Cena did in the ring.

For future reference, I've been using this site for the last couple years. You can always get at least a 720p livestream, and 1080p stream or download after the fact.
