Did anyone have an Easter dinner that was free of political talk? My was for the most part, but I did have to listen to my parents and their retiree friends complain how expensive things are getting because of tariffs. They also rhetorically asked who is going to do all the jobs that are coming back to America because "all Gen Zers do is sit around playing Minecraft."
Mine wasn't, but my parents are slightly to the right of typical Boomercons. I told them about that story of that Indian getting a denied a visa to vacation in Florida, they laughed at the thought of a Jeet with a girlfriend in Florida. I'm trying to steer them away from Vivek, but I don't know if I'll have any luck. Pray that God smites that motherfucker for me Kiwis, Ohio needs your energy.
And for all the bitching American's get for not getting other cultures' foods correct, the Mexicans can't cook an edible hamburger or french fries to save their lives.
The Belgians can get Fries right, but I'm convinced the only non-Americans that can get burgers right are the Japanese, and even then not always. Depends on what their autism focuses on. Euros think breaded chicken on a bun is a burger and then lecture us about a food that was invented by Ohioans and popularized in Hamburg, New York. You're welcome, by the way.
Is this China's final warning?
The funny thing is that Vietnam at least has wanted to work with the US on security matters for a long time, it probably doesn't take much convincing to get them on Team USA. The Jungle Asians hate the Chinese, it's been a thousand years of Ching Chongs slamming into the jungle and getting their asses beat.
It's impossible to sell ice cream in a grocery store without stabilizers. When unstabilized ice cream melts in transit and is later refrozen, it forms ice crystals that destroy its texture.
Häagen-Dazs uses egg yolks as its stabilizer, which makes it technically frozen custard, not ice cream.
I'm gonna shill our local brands of
Graeter's and
Aglamesis Bros. Pricy, but they will ship, both are pretty fantastic, especially Aglamesis's Egg Nog when it's in season. Their chocolate is pretty good too. I'm not gonna make any promises, but ending dates with Graeter's has always ended well for me. Just something to consider.
