Cartoon Industry thread - Showcasing the Spergery of the Animation Industry

Drawing Beavis and Butthead porn is normal to an animator in Hollywood. I don't even want to think about Big Mouth... again.
Speaking of Big Mouth...

Apparently Karli Melder (The Beavis and Butthead Yaoi artist) got Divorced, and has made a GoFundMe because of it.

SUFFAH YAOI COOMBRAIN. May more hardship come to you. The benefit to people in the past is that they learned with their mistakes, nowadays people don't.
>Ugly avatar, probably ugly as fuck soul.
>Retarded opinion.

Should I give props for sincerity?

>enby pooner for seven years
>wanted to start a family soon despite denying feminine roles
>use of "partner" instead of "husband/spouse"

The husband obviously had enough of her bullshit and she's just trying to deflect. Get bent.

We're clearly not getting the whole story here - she talks about how she made all the money while he played video games all day and couldn't work b/c of anxiety, yet somehow he "left her when she needed him most".

This update is pretty cruel, I think he made the right decision and her identity had nothing to do with it.

Real talk, and I know this has come up before, but is something actually wrong with these people?
Do they actually mean what they say about aesthetics, or are they just saying the party line?
You can like ugly things, but those things are ugly, similarly, beautiful things are beautiful.

Yes, preferences differ, but like, this is objectively more ugly:

Than this:

Which we can then contrast directly with something that is "ugly on purpose and they lean into it".

I genuinely feel like the characters in Big Mouth are things the creators think look good and they're trying to gaslight everyone else into thinking "Oh it's just a quirky style!" or something.

It's either a case of extreme spite, or she's a kike.

Physinogamy check?

Consider the number of them who're mentally ill and/or on some kind of drugs. Some of them might actually be possessed, or are just angrily lashing out at their upbringing. They're all unhinged.

That’s her demo reel??
Holy shit what an abortion! Everything is rough and choppy, the jokes don’t land, the generic walk cycle is dropped in awkwardly in the middle of the SpongeBob ripoff apropos of nothing… there is no reason this person ought to have a job in this industry, let alone their own show.

The corruption must have been completely out of control behind the scenes. Someday we’re going to hear stories from whoever around was sane and had to deal with this shit.

They're scared they're going to lose whatever current job they have so they feel compelled to cockgobble any remotely successful project on TV/streaming in case they need to monkey bar to the new job. Really common with artists/animators stationed in California. I just looked at her Bluesky and saw she's Cali-based. Lol.

A recently released video for some animated retelling meant to retell The New Testament of the Holy Bible but with furries. Film is expected to be 15-20 minutes long and to take 1-2 years to finish development. Guy behind the project is Charles Kugler, the same dude who made CLICKER, the animated short of two gay dudes trying to get through their dysfunctional relationship. You already know how this is gonna go. He also professes his attempting efforts in researching the Bible and wishing to be as faithful to it as possible, as explained in the Kickstar. Doing marginally better than Vivziepop's lackluster understanding of Christianity, that's for sure.

Few comments in the comment section praise it being a piece of Christian media that isn't incredibly preachy or done off a Moroccan market with $5 to spare. And honestly? Not even mad. Lots of Christian media are like this, unfortunately. The only good pieces of Christian media I know of that's highly regarded is Veggietales and Prince of Egypt, so it's nice to see a piece of media now and then actually work with Christian stories and make them enjoyable rather than churning something that's not even worth in a bargain bin.

Cautiously optimistic about it but, whatever. At least it'll be fully faithful to the story and respecting the many potential Christians who might want to check it out.

Right? :melchett:

Don't know where to find such confirmations but if anyone finds it let me know.

Appreciate this guy for stepping in, at least.

If you're wondering, yes, it beat its Kickstarter goal and one major perk you get for donating $3,000 is your fursona making a cameo in the film.

I'm not lying.

The fact it has "anthropomorphic media" is already lulzworthy, since it doesn't seem to be taking itself too seriously. I don't know what to say at this point other than LMAO. But if they don't involve faggotry, well, good.

As for CON-over, please Saint Adolf of Austria hallowed be thy name, send a meteor to this studio.
He's Mexican-American actually, plus he's a very feminine looking dude.

Ah, thank you. So he is "Armenian" in the sense of the fact that some Armenians just so happen to look Arabic. Right, and so he's a Sephardic Jew, so it all makes sense. Thank you.

Right? :melchett:
If you want some Christian anthro content - just watch Angel Hare.

I've seen these ugly characters constantly on Instagram thanks to the creator spamming them on shit, the art style and overall "plot" is a very obvious and lazy copy of Daria and I'm sick and tired of these new "artists" copying the things they supposedly grew up with while only adding their retarded obsessions/fetishes into it.
My only complaint about this upcoming project is the name. Why is it even called that?
