It's generally true because you only have finite time and energy. If you have kids, things that are less important will take a back seat. You have to choose your priorities. The problem is women just don't want kids all that much. Dating is fun. Sex is fun. Having money is fun. Changing diapers is not. Commitment is not.
The thing is that pretty much universally, if they're mentally healthy, the parents I talk to say that parenting is fun, that watching their kid grow up is the most fun that they've had, that passing on their experiences (watching their favorite childhood movies with their kid, going camping, fishing, etc) makes them feel young again, that seeing their kid develop as a person is delightful.
Of the parents I know who don't say this, they're typically overweight, unhealthy, depressed, on psychiatric medication, or all of the above.
Seriously. Start asking parents you know and note their reaction versus their overall health and mental health.
It's an extremely stark difference I've noticed and I'd be curious if others do as well.

What is this stuff I'm hearing about Hope Florida and DeSantis getting in some hot water?
Something about Wife Desantis, seems to be preemptive dirt to kneecap her attempt at running for Gov
No clue about any details or if it's legit
Why don't you lads share with the class? More than vagueposting, that is.

You should really change your kid's diapers. Those formulative years will determine whether your child views you (the father) as this big inaccessible authority figure to be afraid of, or their dad. Even something as simple as being the person who brings relief to a baby by changing their diaper can make a massive difference years down the line. This sounds retarded, but consider how many problem people documented on this website could have been fixed by a better father figure.
I mean I would if I was married and had kids(still in college), I was more asking what is the solution to change people’s minds about wanting to have kids because money isn’t going to do it

One of my relatives was FREAKING THE FUCK OUT about the SAFE Act over Easter and said that "it's going to keep married women from voting"
how not married is this relative who is extremely concerned about married women not being able to vote? very? extremely?

Realistically nothing. The spinster problem has existed long before human society, historically childless people without families would be cleaned up by periodic wars.

Because I've glanced at a couple of headlines and tweets and that's about it, and I'm busy at the moment so it'll be a few until I have anything concrete

Sure, but it's hard to convince a 22-year-old of that.

Are you hearing voices? A news source? A video? Smoke signals? What prompted you to string those words together to post here unless you'd heard it from somewhere that perhaps you could link to us?

SOURCE, nigger!
calm down lol
Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier is accusing a Republican lawmaker of hounding First Lady Casey DeSantis's charity on behalf of the state's largest medical marijuana company, Trulieve.

Uthmeier's comments to The Floridian come days after state Rep. Alex Andrade publicly grilled the head of the state's healthcare agency on why $10 million of a state settlement was given to Hope Florida—a non-profit founded by Gov. Ron DeSantis's wife—without lawmakers knowing. Andrade, a Pensacola Republican, has since blasted the DeSantis administration on former Rep. Matt Gaetz's conservative talk show and social media, accusing them of fraud.

Hope Florida, which also hasn't filed its tax information, forwarded its settlement money to two other non-profits weeks after the September settlement. Those organizations then donated millions to a political committee founded to destroy a 2024 pro-weed ballot measure, called Amendment 3.
Hope Florida, the charity founded by Gov. Ron DeSantis's wife, is using lawyer Mohammad Jazil to help fix its legal issues, prompted by reports that it funneled millions to groups trying to defeat a marijuana amendment and hasn't paid its taxes.

The snag?

Jazil represented the anti-marijuana political committee that took in millions of dollars originating from Hope Florida. It was chaired by DeSantis's then-chief of Staff, James Uthmeier. Jazil was also part of Uthmeier's transition team into his current role as Attorney General.

At a Tuesday committee hearing, some lawmakers called it a conflict of interest.

"I'm sorry, I am a little flabbergasted at this revelation," said Republican Rep. Alex Andrade on Tuesday.
DeSantis also continued criticizing the House for trying to "smear" his wife Casey DeSantis's Hope Florida Foundation.

The non-profit initiative founded by Casey DeSantis aims to help Floridians get off government assistance by connecting them with community resources. The DeSantises say it has helped 30,000 Floridians and saved the state $100 million.

"You got a cabal of them in the leadership. They are colluding with the liberal media and the Democratic Party in Florida to try to manufacture smears against Hope Florida, against me, against the First Lady," Desantis said.

The Hope Florida Foundation first came under criticism after the Tampa Bay Times reported it had not filed any of its tax information. It has also come under question over a $10 million payment from the state's healthcare agency.

DeSantis added that the House's continuing smear campaign of Hope Florida was diverting legislative attention away from issues affecting everyday Floridians.

"To have Republicans in the Florida House leadership colluding with these people, when they're doing that and they're not cutting your property taxes, they're not fixing the condo crisis, they're not doing the thing that voters want them to do, make no mistake about that. They are stabbing you in the back. They are refusing to do their jobs," DeSantis continued.
During an appearance on OAN’s “The Matt Gaetz Show,” Florida State Rep. Alex Andrade (R) accused Governor Ron DeSantis of thinking “the rules don’t apply to him” and that “he thinks he is above the law" as the HOPE Florida scandal continues to unfold

Rep. Andrade made the remarks regarding the ongoing HOPE Florida scandal, in which AHCA made a $10 million payment to the Casey DeSantis foundation.

AHCA diverted the $10 million of a $67 million settlement with the state to Hope Florida, First Lady Casey DeSantis's charity, without notifying lawmakers.

“I don't think he's missing anything congressman I think he knows exactly what happened. I think he just thinks the rules don't apply to him. He thinks that he's above the law,” said Rep. Andrade. Unfortunately, our attorney general, who would normally be investigating these circumstances, is even more involved in acting above the law, so I don't think they're missing anything. I just think that the denial is an intoxicating circumstance.”

“ I believe those laws have been violated…i believe the federal crimes have been committed,” added Andrade.

Oof!

Will AG Uthmeier be called in to testify? Will First Lady DeSantis be called in to testify?

Is an independent investigation into the HOPE Florida scandal be warranted considering that Uthmeier appears to be at the center of the controversy?
FL Sen. Carlos Guillermo Smith: "Tina Vidal-Duart, a gubernatorial appointee to FAU’s Board of Trustees was “traveling” and suddenly couldn’t make her Senate confirmation hearing in today’s AHE committee. She’s a registered agent for the Hope Florida Foundation."

so yeah, tbh I still don't really get exactly wtf is the deal
she's a horrible idea for a candidate regardless of this, but no clue if this is anything real or what

Sure, but it's hard to convince a 22-year-old of that.
As a 22 year old, I didn't hear this perspective much if at all. Most of what I was told was that children were expensive, time consuming, will end a woman's career and cause discrimination, that if you have a baby young you'll ruin your entire life and everyone will call you trashy, that never stop crying, are boring for the first year, and I definitely shouldn't consider it until Im ready to put up with it.

Which, on some level is of course true. They can be all of those things. But I wasn't told you'll just adapt to it and all the positives that come with it. That just like moving out of your parents place it's a bit scary until you get used to the responsibility.
Ultimately because of that narrative, I had decided not to have kids from a young age. There seemed to be no benefit to it.

That only changed when my eldest niece was born, and I got to spend a lot of time with her from newborn up to toddlerhood. I helped out a lot and all of those negatives people kept piling up seemed inconsequential and childish compared to what you get in return.

Domestic jobs being laid off in anticipation of the economy shitting itself over tariffs is somehow a win? What happened to fixing the economy and NOT trying to front-run a recession?
Last week you were glazing Orange Man about how many new factory jobs he’d create. Now every American company is cutting off a pound of flesh from its employees to stay afloat and you call it a good thing?
You simply don't understand the art of the deal.

I've been wondering about targeting and fucking with vulnerable people online as well as broadly spraying ideas that will predictably worsen the mental health of a percentage of the people exposed to it for a long long time, since the very early days of sudden jihad syndrome, and what happened during covid almost made me sure that this is happening.

but the almost and not entirely is that I can't come up with a plausible story of who is doing this. it's just too competent to be the government.
Well there's this interesting little passage in Ephesians 6:12 that may give some clear insight on that.

Singapore and China always disliked each other. Especially since the Chinese built a port just next door in Malaysia. Singapore is a city-state and like most of it’s kind it’s wealth is built on trade, so that was very bad for business.

And the Chinese are still pissed that Singapore was able to resist their influence when the British left. China really wants to go back to the pre-century of humiliation state where they sit right in the middle of any and all trade any Asian country does.

TLDR: nihil novil sub solum. The two fucking hate each other since forever.
Nah, Singapore is 70% Han and it’s rulers have extensive ties to the CCP.

Theory is that DeSantis wants to replace Hegseth as secdef

Realistically nothing. The spinster problem has existed long before human society, historically childless people without families would be cleaned up by periodic wars.
Modernity is basically a genetic bottleneck for who will succeed in having children. Whether that bottleneck is eugenic or dysgenic is up to you.

hahaha holy shit that's stupid enough I can believe it

honestly I'm starting to wonder if Ron! is doing some sort of 5d Chess on behalf of MAGA, putting up himself and his wife as the most god-awful front-running alternatives to the good candidate (Trump, Byron Donalds, Hegseth)
