Jesus christ, yeah. Since the Square/Enix merger, they have tried their damndest to produce something of quality. Once in a blue moon they manage to squeeze out a relatively alright game but holy fuck they’re batting average is dog shit.
 
Probably unpopular opinion. But I feel kinda bad for Clair Obscur's team. Their little rpg looks kinda neat, but their launch week has been completely raped by Oblivion shadow dropping. Seems a shame that a game that may actually be cool and orginal is getting buried by a remaster. Life sucks sometimes, tho.

most of the people championing these censorship tactics are only doing so because they just really hate the people on the other side of the issue. spite is the only motivator here, just like in politics.

To be fair, I only played a woman in Expeditions because the game explicitly outlined shit is written to suck for you in character creation.

Yeah, I was talking with a friend about this yesterday. Morrowind would be hard enough to remake with its dice roll combat system, modular armor, vast selection of weapons, text-based dialogue system, and crazy wide open magic/enchantment system. It would have to be completely rebalanced, but it could be done as a full ground-up remake, far beyond what they did with Oblivion. It would essentially be a new game.

But Daggerfall would never happen in a million years. It's just not the kind of game they make anymore. They wouldn't know how to update it without ruining it.

Notice how all the people claiming the body type change is no big deal never discuss the reason it was changed. Some of us take threats of suicide seriously, and don't appreciate the ever present abuse of empathy from these people.. If it's no big deal to you then fine, keep it to yourself. All you're doing is displaying your lack of empathy towards others. AKA being an asshole.

This is a good thing. The only people still working on/playing Daggerfall/Ultima style rpgs are turbo autists, which is exactly who you want doing that.

I love Daggerfall so much I sperged for at least 5 paragraphs about it a few pages ago but claiming that Daggerfall isn't "held together by mods" like every other Bethesda game is a little wild. I'd argue that mods are more important to the game of Daggerfall than any other Elder Scrolls game.

They think they are smarter than they actually are and arent afraid to show that off. They also think that they are funnier and those, coupled with the fact they were raised in the "Sarcasm is cool" culture, leads to them speaking in the most insufferable way possible. Even worse if they are in a janny-tranny position where they are given power to shut down anyone that talks back at them.

Thats why they only thrive in the online world because IRL they tend to not be as confident as they paint themselves to be (nvm they tend to be butt ugly) and they dont have mods ready to shut down the conversation when they are starting to lose.


They are ugly people, inside and outside.
