How do you know it's GPU limited in those parts and not some retarded script doing linear searches on object lists or something gay like that?I'm getting below 50 fps in some parts playing on 4k max settings without DLSS and fake frames on my 5090. Bethesda has the full backing of Microsoft and they still can't bother optimizing their games for shit, especially so if the newest overpriced flagship GPU can't even hit a stable 4k 60 at native ultra. My hatred for UE5 and modern game devs keeps growing by the minute

Well, that's new. Skyrim doesn't have that detail.I don't have a rain shot, but I like the weather and how it affects your gear.

It is incredibly frustrating that people who are against body type a/b act like the other side are complete morons. They know exactly what message they want to send by having two gender options. Whether or not that's right or not doesn't matter, you should be honest about it. Nexus Mods allowing that change on their website would be a direct ACKnowledgement of the two genders theory, and as leftists, they reject it. But people are acting like "Why does text matter" etc, it just seems so disingenuous to ignore what that mod is trying to say.
Sorry Bethesda baby, the grieving shall continue until morale improves. Suffah! It’s weird. The dedicated GTA complaining thread has less negativity.
Maybe this thread should be changed to “The Elder Scrolls Grieving Thread” and a new one be made so people who don’t wanna sift through the complaints can have conversations and the complainers don’t have to see people saying good things about something they don’t like.
God it's been a while since I told Oblivion/Skyrim fans that Gothic is superior, forgot how effective it isDrop that shit and go play Gothic instead, to see what a real RPG is like, because Bethesda never learned how to make one.
I've been modding Fallout 3, New Vegas and Fallout 4 for over 10 years now, even released a couple small modules on this forum. You don't need to be passive aggressive to me in yet another thread just because I rightfully told you that your game is shit, I already disregard your opinions enough.I doubt you’ve ever opened any game engine development kit in your life
you seem to care enough to type up this faggotry to seethe at me, but it’s probably impossible for someone who’s just /v/GPT to not be seething at every moment of the dayI've been modding Fallout 3, New Vegas and Fallout 4 for over 10 years now, even released a couple small modules on this forum. They're buying a Bethesda game; they consider bugs features.I'm hearing a lot of people IRL saying they won't buy TES 6 because they refuse to endorse a buggy mess again.
Same reason all the argonians are thieves and murderersIs there a lore reason why Argonian women sound like Whoopi Goldberg?
I didn't say it was the exact same engine, I said it was similar enough that you can port over entire assets straight over to a game that's over 20 years old at this point, right out of the box. Obviously the engines are different, but it speaks volumes easy ports are possible at all. Those experienced with the engine could also "downgrade" features and make them work in Morrowind too, no doubt. It's pathetic how little these games evolved, considering that Morrowind is old enough to both drink and vote now. Take any UE5 game and try to port over anything directly to the original Unreal Engine, do you really think it will be that easy? Doubtful.Same script language but vastly different engine. Like Unreal Engine that's been used in game since the 90' with different iterations and modifications along the years.
The one used in Oblivion Remastered is probably a very souped up version of the original GameBryo used for Oblivion and Morrowind back in the day, and a field test for the new ES6.
Because consoles still use 64bit infraestructure. Easier too develop and test too if they only have one dev kit for all versions (although xbox and ps are unique, they share the same infraestructure). Script extenders are used by a lot of games that need more capabilities for mods or to bypass certain engine limitations (or even force correct limitations too).
3D assets and maps are typically the easiest thing to port for any engines, why do you think model replacement mods are often the first to be made for any game and available literally hours after release of most games where it's possible, you could strip 3D assets from a UE5 game released today and it would work ported into Garry's ModI didn't say it was the exact same engine, I said it was similar enough that you can port over entire assets straight over to a game that's over 20 years old at this point, right out of the box. it's also why bethesda's modding EULA strictly forbids you from porting between games, it's also why mods that do that are kept away from places like nexus or any US-hosted site due to cuckright laws.3D assets and maps are typically the easiest thing to port for any engines, why do you think model replacement mods are often the first to be made for any game and available literally hours after release of most games where it's possible, you could strip 3D assets from a UE5 game released today and it would work ported into Garry's Mod
The original looks better on a 6" 480i CRT connected via RF with the adapter not screwed in all the way.I don't think I can find that channel, it was very niche and I can't find anything on /vg/ archives right now. Probably won't find it on modern day Youtube just by searching either, you will have to just have to trust me broTM
Hell, for all I know that channel might have been taken down by now anyways. I did find this video, so I will post it just in case it wasn't already, not looking thru 300 new pages to confirm
On the left, we have atrocious color-vomit visual design. On the right, we have cookie-cutter blandness. well obviously an argonians larynx wouldn't be 1 to 1 with a humans, and let's face it Whoopi Goldberg is secretly a lizard person. Is there a lore reason why Argonian women sound like Whoopi Goldberg?
you seen the centaur mod? go play as a horse manThe sign of a good Bethesda game is what the moding community does with it years out. For example look at Morrowind and Tamriel rebuilt then look at Starfield and Fallout 4's nothing. If the modding community does nothing with Oblivion remastered, why wouldn't I just stick with the og?
To be... even less fair to OG Oblivion, that color-vomit and bloom was also industry standard at the time. They were lucky to release it at the tail end of the trend just as the rest of the industry was catching smeary-beige disease from the modern military shooter genre. On the left, we have atrocious color-vomit visual design.
