Todd Rogers is a genuine retard. I think there's something actually wrong with him, and he's very slow. Billy? No. His lawsuit against Cartoon Network was stupid, but other than that, I don't see any evidence to support any claims that he's stupid at all. Even if he did cheat, you don't have to be stupid to submit a MAME high score to the original hardware category.

Something I found interesting - this latest video he pooped out has VERY low views. While it's only been 5 days, it's still very low compared to everything over the last several months, plus if Socialblade is anything to go by, the views are quite low when you take into account the "apology" video was out:



And sure enough, all the top comments on the latest video are shitting on him.

Something deceptive that Karl claimed in his response video was that his GoFundMe quickly rose to 200k and was closed soon after (therefore, he didn't receive any donations when the lawsuit was only about Apollo and therefore wasn't asking for money under false pretenses). However, the earliest that we know when the lawsuit was only about Apollo Legend (aka when the second lawsuit was dropped) was in July 2023, when Billy attended NERG 2023, and the latest being August 2023 (when Karl posted his final update on the GoFundMe saying that the money would go to the first lawsuit).

August 2023 was also when Karl dropped his video, Billy Mitchell Accuses Me Of Fraud During Insane Rant, where he intentionally undermined the lawsuit being about Apollo, focused heavily on the cheating (even calling Billy a liar for claiming that the complaint had no mention of video games or cheating), and overall muddied the waters of what his lawsuit was about. What Karl didn't mention in his response was that he was still accepting donations at the point when he released his video.

Then by July 2024, donations were closed. However, bear in mind, there is a gap in archives from January 2024 to July 2024 so Karl could have been accepting donations for longer.


However, even if we can't confirm the exact date when it was closed, we can confirm that Karl still had his GoFundMe open for 5 months after he began lying to his audience about the lawsuit being related to cheating, with him making about 17,532 dollars off of lying to people (and I say that because his GoFundMe was linked in the specific video where he misled his audience).

Edit: Oops I’m a mongoloid, I used a snapshot on Wayback machine from a few days after Karl uploaded the video, Billy Mitchell Accuses Me of Fraud During Insane Rant (from August 21).

By that point, Karl already received more support to his GoFundMe (thanks to Karl plugging the GoFundMe in that video and starting off with a spiel about donating to him to spite Billy).

Before Karl uploaded the video, his campaign only had 147,621


A day later, the video was uploaded on August 18, 2023 and by August 21 Karl got around 36k off the back of this video where he lied to his audience.


Also in Karl’s own words, he only plugged the GoFundMe twice in videos (the original video announcing the second lawsuit and this video about the Billy panel at NERG 2023).

So, in that case, most of the new traction coming to the GoFundMe was from people who watched this video. By the end of the campaign (earliest being past January 18, 2024) Karl raised about 200,891 aussie dollars. Meaning that Karl raised about 50,000 aussie dollars from lying to his audience.

All other jokes and various dick checking aside, I remember back when the lawsuit was first announced, I too was under the impression that Billy was some thin-skinned prick that was ready to sue any and everyone that made fun of him or his retarded little vidya game scores and tbf, Billy didn't help that perception at the time. Obviously, I didn't continue to pay attention what with Karl's videos being the equivilent of digital dry milk. Every once in a while an update vid would pop up in my feed and I'd give it a few before skipping to the end for the update on the case. Around the end of last year, I started to notice the smugness in Karl's voice, the self-rightousness in his tone. Like he was doing all this for the rest of the collective speedrunning community or gamers in general. He wanted to be the white knight that slayed the big, bad Mitchell dragon.

Now that Karl has had his shit kicked in by Billy and it was revealed to the general mass what this lawsuit was really about, suddenly the lot of people like me, those on the parimeter of this whole thing, those who only casually paid attention, are discovering that not only is this cringy roo nigger boring as dry toast, but also pretty much a retarded bum. Bad enough Karl made video after video dishonestly running Billy's name through the mud, but making bank off of doing it. Yeah, Mr. Mitchell didn't get what he truly deserves but if 150K and the position to dunk on Jobst's pasty ass is good enough for the king, then I guess all is good.

I made numbers the other day and Karl is easily under 500k-700k in debt (his lawyers, discovery team, Billy's lawyer's, the loss and court charges + any other bill he accrued over the course of the proceedings).

Even if he has the GoFundMe at 300k, he is still short. His videos only net him 7k-15k per month and another kiwi said he could get 15k in sponsored ads (which is a lot and I don't really know of anyone wanting to give that kind of money to Karl now), so in the best of cases he gets 30k per month... Billy last week sent an enforcement collection notice, which is basically a "Pay now or I will fuck you up, repossess your shit and throw you in kangaroo jail".
