Tropers are weirdly protective of The Last Of Us 2. I guess they still have PTSD from all those chud streamers, YouTubers, and reviewers that were giving it flack. The "Too Bleak, Stopped Caring" trope AKA Darkness Induced Audience Apathy has been added and subtracted from that page multiple times. Check out the reasoning for removing it

This is just straight up moving the goalposts because "The game has a very nihilistic tone and it's hard to care about anyone" was a universal complaint when it came out. So either the trope itself is worthless (which it is since it has that little caveat written in the small print) or it applies.

This entry was completely gutted, if you check now it's just down to Abby when it 100% applies to more characters than her.

This is another example of Tropers acting like petty tyrants and declaring what's true and what isn't when that's at odds with the reality. Like with Disney Star Wars, they can't allow the chuds to win so they have to lick up liquid shit and act like it's near flawless.

"Disproved in kind?" What the fuck are they talking about? They can't disprove that because it's fucking true. All three of those things are the primary problems people have with the show. Yeah Crab Fucker's right, this is just code that on TVT at least they'll just ban you if you say the most obvious criticism ever.

You know, to TVTropes, crappy representation is better than no representation. No matter how bleak, badly written, or unsympathetic the LGBTXYZ snowflake characters are, TVTropes would still white knight them. They need to just admit that they are fujoshis and/or fudanshis already.

Also, is it me, or is Abby the biggest creator's pet in video game history?

It's amazing that there are still people white knighting this shitty game nearly half a decade later.
I don't think the vast majority of lefty culture warriors bother defending TLOU2 anymore ever since Druckmann revealed himself to be a pro-Israel Zionist. The people still trying to manufacture a narrative on the page used for fan opinions must really love the game or never got the memo that they missed the latest culture war slapfight by a dozen shitty games and movies.

You know, not to get political but Neil Druckmann's worldview essentially being "If I don't get my way then everyone has to die" really explains a lot about the plot of both Last of Us games.

That makes Neil Druckmann a true and honest psychopath. I don't trust him with neither house pets nor innocent children. Especially that scene where Ellie kills dogs in her revenge quest. WTF Druckmann....What the BLOODY FUCK?

eh, game itself is mostly fine. it suffers a pacing issue and the ending couldve been resolved a little better, but otherwise it's rather competently made.
