Good combat and good exploration? Sounds like real dog shit. It's got the best combat, sure, but that's all it has. It lacks in quite literally every other area, aside from maybe open world exploration and the like.

Skyrim clearly isn't an RPG, unless you're some console nigger who grew up playing it during their puberty and doesn't know better. Oblivion, tho? Never heard that one, even people who absolutely despite it still admit it's an RPG. Not a good one, mind you, but it is a roleplaying game in every aspect. Maybe you should lay off those said 4chan greentexts buddy, you had to be in deep bowels of /v/ to read something like that.I am saying the fucking tourists coming in to greentext like 4cuck rapefugees about how Skyrim or Oblivion isn't an RPG are annoying and I wish the thread hadn't been featured so stupid cunts wouldn't have ruined the discussion.
Genuine question, if you hate TES games, what the fuck are you doing still shitting up the thread?Skyrim clearly isn't an RPG, unless you're some console nigger who grew up playing it during their puberty and doesn't know better. I never said I hate TES, I made it abundantly clear I do hate Bethesda however. This isn't your hugbox, I can discuss the games too even if I hate Skyrim and think Oblivion is a mediocre title, which believe it or not is not an uncommon opinion outside the Bethesda playpen for people who play real RPGs.Genuine question, if you hate TES games, what the fuck are you doing still shitting up the thread?
Only if you can make a 12 hour video out of itguys I'm trying to start my journey as a content creator on youtubr. Is it ok if I take a game that it's currently being discussed and call it slop?
Not trying to make it a hugbox, that's why I said it was a genuine question. I just haven't seen you talk about anything but the games sucking ass for the past dozen pages and figured you weren't a fan of the series. You into Daggerfall or Arena at all?I never said I hate TES, I made it abundantly clear I do hate Bethesda however. Most of these super long-format "analysis" videos feel like they're stretching for time despite providing only surface-level takes, repeating themselves for hours without meaningfully expanding on the points they raise. This Patrician guy's Elder Scrolls videos and Bread Circus' 12-hour Phantom Menace series are about the only examples of the genre I can stomach.Only if you can make a 12 hour video out of it
I got to fire up the courage to actually watch this one of these days. He made a 20 hour video(two parter) on Skyrim too.
I haven't watched his TES videos due to their length, but his Starfield video is fantastic. It's 9 hours long but he quite literally goes over everything that game has to offer, along with critiques and everything else, and narrates over early every single hour of his dozens of hours he put into the game as he kept completing the game over and over so he can truly 100% complete it(there is a really obnoxious way to go about it that requires RNG, horrid stuff). Video is long but none of it is padding, I don't think you can make a better video on that game at this point as it wouldn't be as complete or well put together. If his Oblivion and Skyrim videos are like that, then I think I am going to enjoy them. Most of these super long-format "analysis" videos feel like they're stretching for time despite providing only surface-level takes, repeating themselves for hours without meaningfully expanding on the points they raise. Yeah the Oblivion and Skyrim videos are very much in the same vein as the Starfield one. Morrowind video was fun as well, had it structured by character as to experience/record/discuss everything in as few playthroughs as necessary (including a run on the 360 backwards compatibility version of the xbox release just to satisfy an argument about whether the game holds up on its own or if it really is all the mods and tweaks and fan content that make it enjoyable)I haven't watched his TES videos due to their length, but his Starfield video is fantastic. All beggars are there, and they actually got unique voices, ie. can't switch between the "oh milord ahm foken dying please spare a coin" and "I picked up some good pauldrons at the armorer yesterday". Their appearances have also been tuned to actually look malnourished and sickly (bet you didn't know every beggar carried a disease) with bloodshot, baggy eyes and sunken cheeks for example. Is my boy still in the remaster?View attachment 7284742
I was never a really big fan of Bethesda. The amount of time I spent playing any TES game after Morrowind is rather small.lmfao
Bethesda sisters, we lost another one!
Good on you for getting your money back, tho. Thanks for the video, I will see if 4/8chan might have something useful as far as modding guides go, since I sure won't find anything useful here, but the video you linked might be a good start.
Exclude the tag "Creation Club Content" when you're searching, that should filter most of it out. Fair warning, I'm not sure if this includes mods that rely on the free CC that came with AE or not, but there aren't many mods that need it to begin with.Is there a way to filter out mods that rely on the CC on the nexus page or will I just have to check mod by mod?
Come on. Starfield was a game made for hundreds of millions of dollars over a decade. Oblivion Remaster was probably much cheaper and quicker as the core game was already made. And Steam numbers don't include PS5 sales, Xbox sales, Windows store sales, Game Pass subscriptions, etc., which added up would be significant.330K is the bare minimum it has to meet for it not to be a colossal flop, as this is the peak numbers Starfield had on Steam
i yearn to watch zoomie streamers struggle to read a map and use a compass, you do not know how much I agree with youNewfags need to get one shot by a cliff racer scoring a critical hit on them because they neglected to level up in the seyda neen slaver dungeon before getting on the flea to Bal Mora.
This is universal law. The game is working as intended. "Oh sorry, did you expect a hand hold?! Does baby zoomer need to be told to go into the slavery cave and given a structured quest first?"
No. The children need to learn. Us old fags didn't need the computer to tell us what to do. It builds character.
Acting like those N'wahs would even be able to continue playing after they receive a proper greeting from the locals. Skyrim and Bethesda did the Dunmer dirty after Morrowind as they know doubt knew that just like New Vegas they would never be able to top their magnum opus and destroyed it while forcing the Dunmer to be mere underlings to the Nords.Newfags need to get one shot by a cliff racer scoring a critical hit on them because they neglected to level up in the seyda neen slaver dungeon before getting on the flea to Bal Mora.
