I would've aced that assignment! I've learned thanks to very honest online sources that black people simply can not be racist on account of all the cornstarch they keep in their mouths to store for winter. Their hands can not type racist things because they are too busy shoveling unholy amounts of cornstarch into their mouths (to store for winter.)

I would write an essay arguing that they never had a hierarchical, organized criminal element, which is almost a necessary stepping stone for ethnic groups to enter politics in the US. Thus, they cannot be racist and - even if they could - they can't act on it in any meaningful way. It's a backhanded way of saying they need to git gud.

Purely anecdotal but I've seen more than once instance of middle school teachers talking online about how the boys in their class think Star Wars is for girls the same way something like Barbie or My Little Pony is. It's not all covered in pink and pastel but every single Star Wars story now is about how the female character is smarter/better than everyone else and the male characters are all dumb failures who need the girls to teach them how to be competent, so it's not hard to see why.
And disney bought star wars in the first place because it was a boy brand and they wanted to diversify from their mainly female audience. Lol great job guys.
That's modern entertainment in general. The way they write their characters is so formulaic all you have to do is see a picture of the cast to know what's going on.
The biggest thing holding the prequels back is that they're an earnest political tragedy trilogy and an earnest personal corruption trilogy forced to share the same three movies, when they really need their own time to shine. Basically everything that's a problem with them (e.g. like Red Letter Media saying the phantom menace lacks a clear protagonist) can be traced back to trying to cram all the extra worldbuilding and intrigue the political tragedy needs into the same amount of space the original trilogy had just for luke's character arc.
I think RLM influence began to wane after they went full retro and stopped doing what made them famous, like plinkett series and half in the bag. I guess it was by design. They love shit talking about so bad so good movies from 90s.
