There was a rooster on a farm who was treated exceptionally well by the farmer. Every day, he received the finest grains, fresh water, and a comfortable place to roost. The farmer would often come and admire his vibrant plumage and listen to his hearty crow.
The rooster grew to trust the farmer implicitly. He believed he was a valued member of the farm, perhaps even a favorite. He never suspected any ill intent, as the farmer's actions were always kind and provided for his every need.
However, one day, the farmer caught the rooster. This time, it wasn't to admire him or give him treats. It was to prepare him for a special dinner. The rooster, in his final moments, was bewildered and felt betrayed by the very person he had come to trust.
