2049 is Bladerunnery rather than being part of the same world. It's like one of those cheaper sequels where they use the skin or part of it of the original movie but it just feels wrong. And cheap. And the disturbing part of 2049 is I bet it wasn't cheap.
Ford phoned in the performance in his sweatpants or whatever. The scene with Jared Leto and the computer graphic Sean Young wasn't the best either. Gosling was kino, a lot of good scenes with him. The soundtrack is great. But I only wanted to watch it once, I have seen the original 20 times and different cuts.
