If you noticed, they made an effort to disarm the fish of their airsoft guns in the back half of the season because its more interesting to watch people fight with swords rather than just listen to one of the fish raise a gun and go pop with it. Star Wars is successful because a light sabre is an extremely effective way to merge in sword fighting which is far more stimulating to watch -- even blasters in Star Wars are changed to be a more visual thing than regular firearms. They could do a Western themed season or Sci-Fi style one with star trek outfits but it wouldn't be as visually interesting to watch as two people beating the shit out of each other with foam swords.

Honestly I'd be more than fine if they stuck with the foam swords & gave every "class" a thing like they did with Jimmy-weapons or the beanbag spells Letty had. Like a one-time per PvP thing depending on the class or whatever. Like have a leafblower as a flamethrower or something, shit like that.

@attractive_pneumonia brought this up in chat so I figured I'd make a quick post about it (that didn't end up being all that quick), Mizzy and Binx are cleaning up in streamer income compared to some of the other fish. I did a quick comparison of some superchat data from the past week. Mizzy (streamed 3 days this week including a 24hr stream):

Mizzy's top 10 donators weekly total:$2,589.79
Binx (not sure how often she's streamed but I think it's been every day or close to it): $1,822.00

Binx's top 10 donators weekly total:
Burt (streamed twice this week):

Burt's top 10 donators weekly total: $213.91
Josie (streamed twice this week):

Josie's top 10 donators weekly total: $373.13

These do not include non-top 10 donators, I'm sure all of these fish got a bunch of one-off $5 donos, it also doesn't count Youtube memberships, Twitch subs, or bits where applicable, I think with the latter two Binx might take the lead. I went with weekly data because I can't find monthly data for Burt and I wanted a somewhat fair comparison. Burt has really fallen off, as has Josie surprisingly enough. Mizzy and Binx are absolutely cleaning house, Binxsknight double dipping by simping for both of them. I wonder what he does for a living. It is pretty interesting to see now that everyone's live viewership seems to have stabilized, at least until next season.

I have to speculate a bit, but I believe it largely has to do with how the streams are constructed. Mizzy monetizes heavily by having price points to make her do things, Binx shills with the same polish as a seasoned PBS/NPR fund raiser and does things like make balloon animals for donations, if you look at the bottom left corner of her panel you can see the various price for Mizzy. The outlook for these streams has always been money making first and foremost.


I can't speak for Josie because I don't watch her, but the last time Tayleigh, Jimmy or Trish employed this kind of interactivity was all the way back to August 2024 for Tay's birthday stream and she made a lot of money because of it, so about 8 months ago. If I had to presume, the S1/S2 fish being asocial neets value the social aspect of streaming more than pure money making potential. They find the interactivity extremely jarring to their flow and just don't want the interuptions because any time they've done it they've cleaned house. I'm pretty sure I noted the interactivity dynamic during the streaming finacials I did last year and Tay's reticence at employing this kind of money making tactic.

Mizzy averages 20-30 viewers a stream. Mizzy's top 10 donors account for the vast majority of her income. Mizzy doesn't really have any twitch viewers so its all Youtube subs and Streamlabs for her with Streamlabs making up the large (80%+) majority of it. She gets like 10 unique donors in a week and its pretty much the same 10 people who makeup her top monthly donos. She does not have a hundred viewers donating $5-$10 a week, she might have 2-3 guys doing that who don't make her top 10 list. If you break that down more ~90% of Mizzy's Income is RoboJoxx, BinxKnight, and Tomato. Even most of her Youtube subs are being gifted by those guys. She gets almost nothing from 99% of her viewers as far as I can tell.

Binx averages 50-70 viewers, and Binx is a little harder to analyze because only half her income is through Streamlabs. She gets A LOT of gift subs and donos through twitch but it shows a similar pattern. She probably makes about twice as much as Mizzy, but it is still heavily top loaded, but not quite as bad maybe 70% of her income comes from her top 3, and she has a small group of people who make smaller but still regular contributions but its still nothing compared to her paypigs.

I'm sure they love the fact they each managed to lock down a couple simps and share Binxsknight, but they are not healthy channels. They both have lost viewers and unique donors every single month, and are relying on their paypigs increasing their donations to keep up the income.

The guy mentioning the interactivity of Mizzy and Binx streams is spot on. Its why they are making more money than the other fishgirls, and probably why they are losing more popularity faster than any of them. Its super apparent if you watch a Mizzy stream its a cash grab where almost all of the content is dictated and driven by RoboJoxx and Tomato. Basically they pay her to put on makeup and sing karaoke to the same songs every night. Even when Mizzy has an "event" stream like her recent blacked dating house, a IRL stream, or a special guest come on it just turns into those 2 paying to have the guests sing karaoke. Its made her money but she has lost almost all of her viewers besides them because it is boring as fuck.

Binx actually comes into most streams with a activity planned and you can't really pay her to stop and derail the stream like you can a Mizzy stream, but she does sell "things" like dono for a balloon or postcard and its the same pattern. I guess Binx's benefit is you can't pay to ruin a stream so much with her model and as a result she has lost less viewers than Mizzy over the months.

We like that Letty is a Piss Witch, season 1 would have been the biggest piece of shit without Letty, the Piss Witch. Most people here have very little interest in Letty's streams because we only care about her in the context of Fishtank, same thing goes for Mizzy.

You could say that about every girl that's walked into the tank and people do say that about every girl in Fishtank so I don't even know what that's supposed to mean anymore.
