Calling Ethan a baby killer and trying to get his children taken away does nothing to help Palestine. It does nothing to hurt Israel or the IDF. Netanyahu isn't losing sleep over a YouTuber who lives in LA being harassed by sociopathic freaks, because his evil nation is wholly unaffected by it. All it does is further cement the divide and hate that drove this conflict to happen.

The "no bad tactics only bad targets" mentality is magical thinking. It's the belief that harassing and calling CPS on an American citizen who has no influence over the people ACTUALLY COMMITTING THE ATROCITIES is going to do anything to stop or impede a conflict on the other side of the world that he has no influence over. It's the belief that by doing all of this you're going to magically lead to Palestine suddenly winning and Arab Socialism being enacted across the entire Middle East. When someone like Noah Samsen calls for people to go and disrupt supply chains that companies like Lockheed Martin use, that at least makes sense. Disrupting the companies making the weapons being used to do the killing actually hurts the people doing the killing. Now, Noah Samsen is a retard, and his audience are a bunch of retards, so that's never going to happen, but the point still stands. Attacking Ethan does absolutely nothing but make him look sympathetic.

I'm going to be intentionally vague here to avoid this being traced back to me.

I work at a marketing agency that has an influencer marketing division. Basically, we handle deals, create content, and manage relationships between brands and influencers.

Lately, I've been quietly sowing doubt with colleagues in that department about Hasan.

This morning, an account manager reached out for more context, they were reviewing a potential deal between one of our major clients and a sales rep representing Hasan, because I have talked about it, the account manager messaged me.

After I shared my concerns, the decision was made to officially classify Hasan and his affiliates as brand-unsafe. That means we've blacklisted them.

I don't know the specifics of the deal that was being considered, but I can say with confidence that the brands we represent are far from small.

Another important note is that people in the marketing industry really like to talk, so this will definitely have a ripple effect.

Also if anyone else is in a similar position to me, the advice I would give you is focus on was how Hasan weaponizes his audience against people; brands are really afraid of becoming the target of harassment.

They can try but that would go over like a lead balloon. People have to dedicate a lot to train for these fights, so yeah their training is paid for, but theoretically this is time spent on this that they could easily be spending on something more profitable. So to rug pull them for the optics at the last minute would get them crucified by people financially incentivized to sweep for them.

When I listened through Harley's call to Deorio, it was VERY clear that Harley was concerned about Creator Clash 3's public perception and he knew full well the CC2 debacle tainted it's image.

It was abundantly clear he knows the Content Cop has been received unanimously negatively outside of the Hasan circles; the Vtuber community as a whole is telling iDubbz to log off. As well, ArchCast to Omegon to AirsoftFatty to ActualJusticeWarrior to Sargon....literally every circle that could somehow be aware of iDubbz is telling Ian he is washed...point being, Harley knows Content Cop / H3 fallout is destabilizing CC3.

Harley was mad about the money, mad about the perception, mad about being called a murdering Zionist and he quite literally said in the DeOrio call he has nothing else going on besides CC3. It was a matter of time before he boiled over.
