Con's cannot give the Bloc what they want without annihilating their own base. Cons want the pipeline, Blanchet doesn't.

Should also be noted that from day 1 Trudeau was adamant about maintaining Canadian sovereignity, and was caught on a hot mic saying its real, Trump wants Canadas rare earth metals. Meanwhile Polivere stumbled with nothingburgers for a day, until he saw how popular Trudeau was suddenly getting from his Outstanding Patriotism, then he followed suit lock step.

This election will be in textbooks for decades on how to fumble a free win through inaction.

Liberals (read: Trudeau) were so incredibly unpopular that they wouldn't have even formed the opposition. Then the 51st state bullshit started and immediately started flipping the polls. They kept that momentum by ditching Trudeau (and thus his baggage), appointing Carney to liberal leader, and having him remove the consumer carbon tax. The very thing Poliviere campaigned on for years.

It doesn't help that all Pierre had going for him is that he's not Trudeau. You need more than that. I do like his affordable homes bullshit that he could build 2.5 million affordable homes when he claimed not long ago that Trudeau couldn't build 800k. His math was worse than Freelands.

It's not surprising at all. Years of propaganda and ideological conditioning have led many to believe that adhering to faggy liberal ideals is the only correct path and this is unlikely to change because these people act out of a belief in their own moral superiority they are convinced they are virtuous while viewing others as evil and dangerous.

I expect things to get worse and as people get replaced in their own countries and their children get mentally raped by the internet and other forms of dogshit media, not to mention in certain European countries you already get jailed for opposing your government and people celebrate it.

Sort of. Leaf Parliament is sort of like burgerclap congress, but rather than 2 parties you have 2 big parties and a bunch of little ones.

Right now if the count ends, both the libs and and cons can pass bills if they get the bloq (Quebec nationalist party) on board. If interests align it passes. If not, they might trade and vote for eachothers bills.

In minority governments like this the swing party often holds a lot of power despite not being the headline winner.

They will need to get votes from other parties. This include the budget, so either they cuck out ( to the Bloc, currently) or the budget fails and elections are called.
Generally happens 1-2 years in. Before that everyone build up waiting for a good opportunity to break off the government.
