Would anyone actually care if these two countries Genocided each other to the point where the Brits could move back in?
nuclear war anywhere on earth is a threat to all life, the dust clouds alone, to say nothing of the radiation would cause HUGE issues with crops in far off places by blocking sunlight and disrupting the water cycle

Its not an extinction level threat, yet... but trust me when I say we would definitely prefer to talk them down from this

My dear fellow, there is a litany of information concerning Russia's attempts to subvert the electoral process! I certainly hope you find such sources reliable and informative

this is literally the first source I found btw, we all know there is absolutely nothing that will ever convince you of anything that goes against your preconceived notions.

English is the obvious choice for a inter-national language.

English is a hybrid language. Primarily between Latin-based Romance languages (blue on map) and Germanic languages (rust color). Romance language speakers will understand, in context, the English word liberty (Italian: libertà, French: liberté, etc). Germanic speakers will understand, in context, the English word milk (German: milch, Swedish: mjölk, etc)

In order to be hybrid, English has to be flexible with the order of nouns and verbs in sentences. English also dropped "gender" and other complicated language features. English adopts other languages' words when something new is labeled instead of creating its own word. Especially names of foreign objects. English speakers and the foreign object's natives can both refer to the object (for example, to trade ginseng). When precise scientific terms are needed English uses classic language roots (Latin, Greek). These roots are more likely to be intuitively understood by Indo-European language users.

English's flexibility and 800 basic words is enough for people to communicate fairly well. With context (e.g. pointing at an object) you can do international trade. This also allows pidgen versions of English to easily be created.

English is also capable of rapid language creation in subdomains. In-group slang is easily created. Domain specific technical terminology is easily created. Creative cultural works can imbue themselves with ensorcelled lexicography, multiplexed techno-babble, thine kyng's Ænglisc, kawaii desu, and straight up nigga lingo.

Everyone from the dumbest retard to the esoteric intelligentsia will find English very useful.

TL;DR: English be OP, simple as.
I've often thought that one of the best ways to think of language is as a tool, and you pretty much covered all of the bases for why English is the most appropriate tool for an international language. However, there are detriments to this tool, one being that the simplicity of and ease of use of the English language makes English speaking communities more susceptible to outside influences. One reason why I think Asians are still so culturally rigid and resistant to outside influence is because of the natural language barrier. But frankly I also think all chink languages are fucking garbage, including the moon runes from Japan.

Holy shit I know this isent US politics but this is WORLD NEWS, 2 nuclear powers are facing off and the military was just given freedom of action
That is spooky.

Pakistan has a nuclear security problem and modern nukes are a lot more powerful than it says on the tin. Also, there's a chance that one of these countries might lob a nuke as a "fuck you" at someone else who then lobs their own "fuck you" nukes. It's a really, really hard situation to contain and this can happen in the span of 30 minutes. China has been helping Pakistan produce missile systems and India also hates China.

If that doesn't persuade you, then think of the millions of Indian and Pakistani refugees in the resulting diaspora. Also it would kick up India's literal shit and spread it globally.

I doubt Nukes are in play...and I legit doubt that either side has viable nukes that are actually useable.

Actually interacting with Indians and Pakis in person have made me come to the conclusion that they are too stupid to maintain them.

Also...using Nukes in wars over land is kind of silly "Oh that area we fought over is now much less valuable because it's bordering an Irradiated Crater"

Why protest Columbus Day? Fuck the Native Americans. They were violent niggers who skinned heads, sacrificed children to skygods and ate human organs for rituals. If you have any conceptual notion of otherwise, congratulations you've been brainwashed by Disneys Pocahontas and James Cameron's Avatar to think the indigenous were anything other than bloodthirsty savages who were at constant war with each other and did whatever they had to for survival.
Fun fact: the Aztecs and surrounding tribes would regularly have wars just so that each side could capture enemy combatants for sacrificial purposes. Some rituals needed outsiders to be sacrificed, while others required members of your own tribe to be sacrificed. Including children and babies, of course. Real interesting stuff to learn about!

"Turn the other cheek" doesn't mean let your enemies kill you. There is no such concept in Christianity.
People who claim that that principle is a core of Christianity usually either forgot, or never knew, that Jesus also beat the asses of the moneylenders when he threw them out of the temple.

India has a triad (missiles, bombers, subs) and Pakistan has working missiles.
That is what the talking heads have said for decades.
They have also said Iran is "TWO WEEKS AWAY FROM NUCLEAR WEAPONS" for my entire adult life

From what I have seen of their cultures by interacting with them personally I don't think Pakis or Indians can maintain Nuclear Missiles well enough for them to be viable weapons.

The only reason I think the CCP can is because we have apparently just allowed them to have ALL OF OUR MILITARY SECRETS For the past 20 years.
