Sounds like a very interesting strategy, just allow so much degeneracy on the platform till it becomes a news story and more and more people see discord as a genuine issue when it comes to spreading porn to children. With the action that they're taking, I think they're already shooting themselves in the foot when it comes to their reputation, or at the very least, started the domino chain to being covered in a negative light globally.

As of right now, most knowledge of discord being a massive nest of pedos is not really widespread yet, but like I said, if it gets to the normies, microsoft/discord whatever will have to seriously enforce and destroy these freaks in order to protect their valuable shekels.
