It's pretty obvious: Sean took his place as the de facto KF-friendly lawyer after he pissed away all the good will he had on here. He also was and still is friendly with people in the Rekieta a-log sphere, moreso than people like Kurt or Legal Mindset.

@Potentially Criminal was registered. I know there was much gnashing of teeth in his Locals. Those morons basically consider anything to do with here an act of treason.
Nick = Former off-site "friend of the Farms."
Sean = Actually on the damn Farms.
That said, it warrants a reminder that Sean is not the only lawyer (current and former) who is a Kiwi. There are others. Every single one I know of has a very dim view of Nick. Either now, or dating to the past. Some of them have had that view stretching back to Weebwars, when such an opinion was regarded as something of an outlier here. In retrospect, I find that both bittersweet and amusing.
Anyways I am not saying that anyone should blindly trust Sean (as many people, self included, once blindly trusted Nick), but what I AM saying is, based on empirical evidence, that he has thus far established a better track record for honesty and foresight than Nick.
Which I realize, to some, doesn't seem particularly difficult or impressive now.
Sean addresses the supertips NIL situation before his Karen Read coverage today, about 5 minutes into the stream:
As Nick says he doesn't need Sean's likeness to feed his kids, Sean will be filing a takedown.
He also dunks on Nick's understanding of contracts and the law.
