This ain't something unusual for Harry, tbh. He was raised to put royal commitments over family. Diana was the exception of the rule, but the Queen raised her kids to understand that duty came before family. And Harry was raised by his father more time than Diana. How much of a harpy must you be that your husband is allegedly skipping town the weekend of your firstborn child's birthday?
She also had bone cancer, from what everything I've read claims. It was also reported the Queen said she was glad Meghan wasn't attending Phillips' funeral. To be fair, the Queen went through all of it when she was 40 years younger. MM wasn't what killed her, but rather a combination of losing her husband, covid, whatever crisis UK had at the moment, plus seeing her family falling apart and her grandson breaking from his brother and father over a woman definitely caused stress she didn't need.
Nah, it’s known that she has wanted him to drop it for over a year now. It’s cost millions in his own legal fees and those he now has to cover for others as a consequence of losing repeatedly in court. Plus she has zero interest in ever going back to the UK.Meghan is going to be soooooooo pissed at him.
That’s the issue with being rich and coddled, the kids grow up into retarded adults. Rich people need to let their kids suffer more or they turn out useless. Lilibet and Archie are totally fucked, the only skills they will have are soothing their narc mom and making sure not to be too loud when their dad is sleeping through the suicide Tuesdays in one of their 10 guest bedrooms.I just don’t get people like this. It’s so incredibly transparent what they do but they just can’t stop lying on the off chance that they could pull just one person into their orbit.
In a way he’s right but has it backwards. Papa won’t speak to him because of security, sure: His and the Royal family’s security. His son is not trustworthy. In fact, the RF had not officially released that the Charles’ cancer was incurable TMK, but Aitch did. Also reveals his father won’t speak to him because of the security case,
Basically the Royal and VIP Executive Committee (Ravec) are the committee who decides on security allocations through Protection Command. There's a lot of factors to it, but one element here would be that only authorised firearms officers can act as armed security in the UK - private security cannot carry guns (legally). Ravec are supposed to be an expert board and they consult with a Risk Management Board to understand threats to Royals, public office holders, former Prime Ministers etc.I can't decide if he's just mad he has to spend so much money on his own private security, or if he's mad that he's not being treated specially.
Incredibly jaw dropping he's comparing burning bridges with the royals and losing security to First Nations exposés on residential schools. Harry magnanimously reveals he's "forgiven" his family but seems to be completely ignorant on the optics of this situation, claiming he's been disappointed by his country that he "continues to serve" and whining about tabloid readers writing to their MPs to say they don't want to pay for Harry's security. As I learnt through the First Nations throughout Canada, because of the Invictus Games, their golden line was always 'truth and reconciliation'. And I turned around to them, and in many conversations they said 'reconciliation can't come without truth'. Well I've now found out the truth. I've shared some of it with you today. A lot of it exists out there whether people choose to ignore it or not. So it would be nice to have that reconciliation part now. If they don't want that, that's entirely up to them.
And now that this court battle is over, do you feel you will be able to approach your father and speak about some of those issues?
I mean if - No, I don't think he'd ever want to talk about it. He would just push it aside; the argument will continue to be "this is a government decision". It may well be a government decision, but how do they reach that decision? When the Ravec chair - the first place that they went to was the Palace to understand what it is the Royal household, the Royal family want for me. I have never ever been allowed or offered to make my own representations. Not in 2020 and not for the last five years. And the new Ravec chair continues to avoid answering some very specific questions that I have.
Not to nitpick and be pedantic but Harry's name is Henry not Harold. I've seen a lot of people using Harold and its driving me nuts. He's Henry Charles Albert David, aka Harry.
Sorry.
Thing is, had they been kept in UK and raised around the royals, they'd have been educated in many useful things the other royals can do. Like, if there was an apocalypse right now and I'm close to princess Anne, I'd be like "yes! I'm surviving!". Harry has skills he learned as a royal and during the army. In case of a disaster, he's gonna be ok while Meghan just screams "Harold! Harold!" and does nothing.Lilibet and Archie are totally fucked, the only skills they will have are soothing their narc mom and making sure not to be too loud when their dad is sleeping through the suicide Tuesdays in one of their 10 guest bedrooms.
andWilliam called him Harold, at least in Harry's book (while Harry called him Willy).
Meghan has also called him Harold, which prompted us to make fun of her for not knowing his name is Henry.
but I'd find it odd if William actually did
