Out of all the hills to die, WHY WOULD DOES HE DIE ON THIS ONE? If you could only save face with one thing, it had to be the CPS call. Hell, one could argue the only thing he had to adress was the call and he shot himself.
The content cop was easily deflected by Ethan saying Ian didn't mention the CPS call and now this response is easily deflected by saying Ian defends the call. Nothing else he says matters because the core issue didn't change and the fault is objectively on ian.
