I don't want to get spergy about it but why DID she pick out Lucian to a be a token homo? He was already the token black for a while there. He's literally the 1 out of 130-something champs that has a relationship as a major part of his backstory and it's a hetero one.

I'm actually surprised that she didn't mention the Gameplay/Visual Update for the champion Taric (who was always the center of "lol he's a feggit" jokes) where a Rioter confirmed that "he loves everyone" when asked about his sexuality. Hell just look up a clip of his dance and you'll get what I'm saying. I'm pretty sure that update came out during her time at Riot too.

Theres other characters who are popularly considered gay too but they came out in an era of champ design where a lot their personality was left out of their VOs and they just make really general quotes relating to their gimmick/backstory/barebones personality.
