Morbid trivia: the murder-suicide of Chris Benoit is a grisly, ghastly tale that's been iterated upon and discussed into oblivion. Having said that: CTE is generally considered one of the biggest factors into why Chris did what he did. An unfortunate combination of CTE, the premature demise of his best friend Eddie Guerrero, and continuously putting himself through the wringer while never seeking meaningful psychiatric help. Not all CTE cases, much less moderate-to-severe injuries from combat sports, would necessarily end up like Benoit but I still think it bad juju to brazenly state you'd rather have CTE than simply do exercises with your own wife.

I have not watched the pod in YEARS - I only remember there was one black haired kid who was into metal, and some scrawny guy who was in to Kanye and kept making powerpoints and I think they were going to make a dating show on the pod to get him a girl and her ruined it by going behind Ethan's back and dm'ing one of the prospective contestants and beginning dating her before the segment got into production. (This is where the whole Trisha and Moses thing happened, because they had to find a new contestant, Trisha...)

I remember both of those people being annoying.

Don't know what Dan is like in modern times but I remember he and Ethan used to get into it pretty frequently. He's clearly not being abused if he is still sticking with the podcast as producer and is probably fairly comfortable arguing with Ethan/Hila like you would a friend that you disagree with on topics but you aren't so retarded to write them off as a human being because they don't 100 percent align with your values.
