What I don't get about the sword, is that what's the harm in going, "shit, my bad"? Like, going with Ian and Hasan's cope of, "it's just a sword", can they just not admit that yeah, it looks like a swastika, and they used it in an anti-Semitic video? Can't they just admit that that framing does look very suspicious, and give out a simple, "oh shit, sorry, didn't mean to do that. total accident, but yeah that looks bad. sorry"
After watching the debate, again, through Nick Oreo, the one thing that stuck is that Ethan is totally willing to admit he fucked up. He's willing to accept his mistakes, his mis-speaks, and his bad opinions. Ian and Hasan keep fucking doubling down, saying their opinions are the only good ones, and Ethan is crazy for...thinking that using a swastika sword in a video attacking a Jewish man is bad.
Because they are not rational but volatile and emotional, they do not care about facts, truths and logic.
All that matters to the likes of Hasan, Idubbbz, Anus, That bitch that looks like Thomas the Tank Engine and the rest of their ilk is apppeasing their ever more insane followers, it's not a personal issue, it's an ideological issue as was pointed out here many times in the case of Ethan by Jordan Peterson that they will be held to an always higher and higher moral/ethical standard and if you don't do the bidding or follow the masses opinion, you turn into an Ethan Klein; eaten by his own for admitting faults and admitting their ideology is not always correct, by giving even one inch you make yourself look weak in their eyes.
A fitting comparison is that it's a big school of piranha's, if one bleeds (i.e. admits faults, is critical or steps out of line) the entire school goes into a frenzy and starts shredding you apart, both these extreme leftoids and piranha's have that in common, they are opportunistic feeders who only care about optics and any critical revision of their ideology means you are the next to be shredded.
Ian was already past the sunk cost fallacy line in the eyes of many after his 'my wife on Onlyfans is actually good' because he knew he'd already disconnected with many so he kept doubling down again and again, no doubt that Anus kept egging him on to the leftosphere where he now is a useful tool.
At the end of the day however CC3 ends out he and Anus will always be remembered as 'the creators who (almost) ruined Creator Clash' depending if there will be a 4th edition or not after this fiasco, and I personally believe that it's ten times more embarassing to get kicked out of your own event rather than just saying 'Yeah, it didn't pay off so we're ending it', because this implies there are actually competent and well-intending people behind the scenes or participating who wish to raise money for those needy sick of their divisive antics considering Anus' and Ian's best attempts to torpedo the event and blame people like Ethan Klein for it.
To summarize it: Ian made his bed and has to lay in it while Anus is probably trying to get into Hasan's bed.
To wrap this up, I think Ian looks physically very unwell and seems more mentally deranged than usual in the Content Deputy, I hope he's smart (he's not lmao) and completely walks away from all this discourse and actually does something he enjoys instead of trying to make Anus happy with whatever deranged request she comes up with which inevitably makes him the scapegoat.
