Troonslop "Retro" Games / Demake games / PS1 Trannies / ULTRAKILL / Y2K trannies - Retro gaming is infected

That isn't troonslop, that's japslop. By the visual novel company that developed Steins;Gate and Saya no Uta, no less, so AAA japgame (by the standards of visual novels). This a visuel novel is not, however.
Postal 2 is mentioned in the OP because of its community, so I think this fits.

Edit: then again, that could be cheating. I could post the entire Touhou Community thread in here if we start counting Japanese games.

Isn't it a bit strange that normally progressive-minded people gravitate towards nostalgia aesthetics and the like?

Isn't that a tad...reactionary?

Or is it that even they feel (or recognize) that the present sucks, and the past was slightly less sucky?
It's not that the present sucks. It's that their present sucks. They want to regress to children so they can go back to when they had no responsibilities and/or to live out their autopedophilia/autogynephilia fetish. It's not uncommon for troons to be into ABDL.

Don't talk so badly about @Toji Suzuhara. He's a good poster.
emphasis on 'Lain LARPing'.
I don't really write off all Lain fans as being troons since that anime, alongside Azumanga Daioh existed for a long time before troons got to them. It's easy to tell the difference between those who like know the shows since the late 90s/2000s thru forums and pirated episodes, versus those who LARP cuz a Xitter artist who made fanart of them got viral.

Deynum Studio spent 2 years making a game inspired by Enter the Gungeon, only played EtG for 4 hours and 45 minutes, and disliked the game's genre. (Video)
He manually aligns the collision for walls and splices in the working elevator scene transitions in post. (Video)
Is every pixelshit game, whose dev tends to procrastinate, considered troonslop now?

You should start an indie game development grieving/general thread for games this in the games subforum, I think it would be pretty popular.

What do you all think of Crazy Cattle 3D? It's some Y2K-based game that has become really popular recently after spreading through platforms like Tiktok and Instagram. In the game, you are a sheep trying to tip other sheep over while avoiding being tipped over yourself.
For me at least, I enjoyed it a bit. While the gameplay is fun at first, it gets boring and repetitive pretty fast.
It is made by someone called "Anna Mayberry", who is probably definitely a tranny. "She" seems to have not benefited much from the game's popularity, as everyone just goes to some random websites hosting the game rather than "her" itch.io page. "She" seems pretty boring overall though.

Apparently the game runs like shit after a few levels, so that's how you know this game was written only by the most competent of tranny fingers.

Saw a trailer for that game on my YouTube feed, saw the name and icon of the uploader and thought "oh yeah that's 90% a tranny", thanks for proving me right. Crazy how at some point you just start clocking people like this with very high accuracy. Probably helps that the vast majority of trannies act exactly the same way online...

Picayune Dreams is a fun game, it's a survivorslike/bullet heaven pixel art game, creator is genderfluid and has happy tree friends porn as his twitter icon but whatever. You're meant to collect memories as you defeat bosses but you can only collect one per run so the story is told in very short, spaced out segments. Usually hate mechatroon characters but the MC is cute. Story is just okay, they throw in a jap character so it's 2000s rpgmaker anime vibes, fun to shred bosses and fun if you're into horde survival

Worst thing that's ever happened was letting Yume Nikki fall into the hands of trannies though, Yume 2kki and new FGs like collective unconscious and the Yume Nikki Online project in general suck, no one wants to play browsershit. All you had to do was reskin the game, hard to mess up

So I think people mentioned Postal, while Im not sure if it counts because its mostly the fandom being crazy about it, I still think Postal 4 is a weird game.

I dont hate it, but it feels just "ok", it exists. 2's jankyness fit in the charm in a way that you can feel its because they had limited budget and tech, the same way a "so bad its good" film cant exist if its made on propurse, its incidental. 2 just feels like a lighting in a bottle situation where even the devs cant capture the charm.

Granted, the game taking years to actually be finished despite them asking full price is a bad thing, 2 also released quite barebones, and a lot of what people came to love came in updates, but playing just the first 5 days in 2 is more rewarding than 4 coming with like 2 days.

The Jank in the game can make some unintentional great moments, tho.

Related, I find the RWS comment on him not being transphobic so funny, because its basically:

"He isnt transphobic, he Hates everyone"

"So he hates trans people?"

"Yes but not because they are trans"

"He still hates them, dont he?"

Really, whats the point? I dont think it makes a difference if he kill Lilith they/them for the fun of it instead of because hes transphobic

Dread Delusion is enjoyable, really. Out of all of these games it's definitely one of the better ones. Something felt off, though. Some parts of the story are really cool, usually side characters, and some have weird stunted anime undertones. The latter parts tend to involve female characters and very unfortunately happen to include the main plot. I checked the dev website the first time and didn't notice anything. I went back to playing. As I keep meeting more girlbosses and notice some weird grammatical mistakes (inconsistently switching between 'they' and 'he', for instance) I finally go look it up and

Well, I dunno, it's still quite cool. I find it hard to be as jaded as some of you guys. I guess it's proof that these can be salvageable if they have some editors and manage to keep it in their pants. If although had I seen this BlueSky tweet I would not have bought the game. In game the interaction with this annoying bureaucrat has no sexual undertones. I'm really curious exactly what happened. There's 5 or 6 writers and quite a surprising amount of people credited to some degree. Did they go back and rewrite parts that sounded like they were written one handed?
