Missed this post but sperg about bodyshape
For the upper half of his "abs" he appears to have a line up top that makes them a bit more defined, that line is because he likely puts his shoulders and chest in front of his hips while sitting creating a line there + no pectoral or serratus anterior muscle development + start of moobs gives his torso a weird rectangular shape vs the upside-down triangle most men naturally get as they build muscle.
His lower abs are where it's really fucked up, that line across his belly button isn't muscle definition - it's a mix of him slightly bending there and flexing to make his abs pop + similar as above likely a line created from bad sitting posture. The real reason that this entire picture looks weird though is his waist is relatively big and he still has lovehandles. Mix of genetics + low calorie diet + probably does some boxercise or cardio that are enabling him to be skinny enough to have "abs" but basically every part of body except his forearms and maybe neck/collar area have almost muscle.
I train at a relatively serious martial arts gym and we tell guys who are out of shape and want to join and turn their life around that they're probably wasting their time coming here if they can't run 10km easily - a lot of the skinny ones, especially slightly taller guys, look like Ian in this photo on their first day after they are able to run 10km but before cutting out 6 carbonated drinks a day.
tl;dr Ian doesn't lift in a meaningful, probably has a low protein diet, has bad sitting posture (something he talked about in old vids, this dude had a tailbone injury from sitting with his feet on the desk while gaming), and is out of shape enough that he has lovehandles still even with his tiny frame. Probably just runs a bit and does crunches. Skinnyfat.
He's just skinnyfat right now and as others have said he probably lost most of his muscle he gained from training for the first 2 fights between bad diet, lack of exercise, probably drinks soda, etc, and replaced it with fat.Can someone explain what is up with his abdominal muscles?

It doesn't look possible. It's like he pressed something sharp into his tum tum fat to make indents that mimic abs. I don't get how it's possible to look like this naturally.
