Fun fact: This is the second time, in under 30 days, that somebody in Minnesota fired up a stream, it was featured, and then the PTB thought better of it. Happened to Rekieta last month for his comeback stream.

Minnesota streamer stock is down, I guess.

Honestly, maybe it’s because I’m getting older, but I just don’t have the will to continue to consoom more new games.

I have my stable of like 2-3 games I’ll play regularly, and I’m content with that. So I could really care less about the games industry or whatever.

It's simple slop fatigue. I guarantee you're not tired of playing games, you're just tired of being disappointed by crappy new ones. Unless you're big in the online gaming scene, I would suggest not even bothering buying new games or hardware for them. A good PC and optionally a mobile phone/tablet is all you need, and there is plenty of great games made between gens 6-8 to last you for years. If you can stomach how primitive they are by today's standards, there is enough good retro titles to last you a lifetime and that's not even getting into mods, romhacks or fangames.

Finished watching the stream in full again, and it was one of the better ones he's had this year. I could do without the poopsquatch update but between the gaming and livestreamer updates and the hellmarch in the middle of a political rant it could've otherwise been easily mistaken for a 2019 stream.

Also @WelperHelper99 on suicide watch after Jim came out as a Jalter appreciator instead of a Saber simp.

It's very weird listening to people talking about the "race war" in the USA. The way people over there use "white people" to signify some group just doesn't compute for a Slav like me. I haven't seen a negro until my 20s, yet there were dozens of different groups and ethnicities, all of which would be considered "white". I bet it's the same for people with other skin colours. Yet Jim goes on this tirade where this overly-simplified "white" man (who apparently is some homogenous group of all white people?) is waking up to the overly-simplified version of the "black" menace that only makes sense to the people around and within the USA and their sphere of influence. I wish we were back to the class war.
