One of the craziest things in the lore to me is on their podcast I think? Anisa and Ian admitted a lot of his ideas for content, starting with the Tana Content Cop maybe a little earlier, were actually at the behest of Anisa. I imagine someone even as retarded as her knows how bad optically it would be for her to appear in them while already using her concubine's platform to go after people she dislikes. That's my only guess other than Ian "protecting her from the evil internet commentators". For the average internet observer this is almost 100% Ian gattling-gunning himself in the foot and Anisa is just some literally-who who gets to socially move on from this in a few years aside from a few people who remember her titty streaming days, people deep in the youtube drama content algo, or people reading/posting in this thread or similar ones.

Does Ian have any real-life problems? There is still something so visceral about this whole situation. I accepted long ago that Idubbbz is a fucking loser. But this drama just fills me with dread. Like the last shred, the last ember of any sort of redemption has been completely snuffed out, even if redemption was wholely unlikely in the first place. And it somehow just keeps tumbling down the hill further and further. Maybe it's because the internet as a whole feels less fun. This is just a reminder that even the ghosts of bygone times have lost the plot or faded from the public eye.

At first, I didn't understand why Ian kept emphasizing how Ethan and Hila shit-talked him and his wife before the CPS visit. I think I might have figured it out.

Ian doesn't realize that CPS doesn't just do a no-knock raid whenever they get a claim. They call you, schedule an appointment with you, and then visit on appointment day. Ethan and Hila learned about the CPS investigation on March 3rd. IIRC, they were probably still attempting to get the Jomhas to make a statement in-between the call and the visit in a desperate attempt to get CPS to call it off. They were becoming increasingly agitated as the visit grew nearer and exploded once it happened.

Ethan likely became suspicious of Ian's trustworthiness when such a simple request (just say the rumors are baseless since he had been to his house) was outright refused. That's why the plea became a demand. He wanted to know if Ian actually cared about him at all. The entire friendship hung on one small gesture. Just one tweet.

And Ian refused.
