I know a couple of people who were forced to take these kinds of jobs such as handling accounts for whores in OF because salary is just that pathetic in other countries that are not the big 3. I can confirm: Most if not
all of the companies related to OnlyFans, such as managing accounts for whores (yes, when you speak to an onlyfans girl you're actually talking to a man in vietnam, a street shitter or some spic from mexico), DMCA claims and the like are either Estonian, Russian or Turkish.
It's kind of like a big mafia where people from those circles all somehow know each other, and I'm not talking about those pesky low level vietnamese recruits that they keep on a very low salary while working 12 hour jobs on the clock to talk to horny, pathetic men who want stuff for free. I'm talking about the bosses high on the ladder who all
coincidentally are russian, estonian or turks.
I haven't quite figured out yet how they manage to get paid just to have a bot send DMCA takedowns, however I know it has to do with the cut of revenue they get from the whores. Most of this is just intimidation, as you gathered. I sincerely doubt they'd escalate the situation. Yet I'd also keep my guard up. These people are
insane. I've read their contracts and they legally bind you to european laws to be slaves in some ends. I don't know how the hell they plan to enforce that shit when you work overseas, but that's what they do.
IMO, the people who send the DMCA threats may also be underpaid peasants while the estonian & russian "CEO"s of the company (they have that much of an ego they actually call themselves CEOs) take 95% of the revenue.
