It's pretty simple. First off, remember that Hasan is astroturfed. His rise to fame was not organic.

That said, there are people who unironically like him. As for why that is, it's literally because he's a tall, non-fat, and normal-ish looking man. I'm not trying to be funny either. I used to be an SJW and one of the biggest complaints then (and it's still the same complaint now) is that leftist men are all short, weak, and gross looking sex pests. Literally low T levels.
