PC or console - which should i game with?

Sounds like you need an Atari Jaguar,

This one has better graphs:

Given the rise of mobile games such as Modern Combat 5 which have great graphics and performance even on low-moderate end PCs, I'd actually go with a decent PC such as a factory Lenovo Thinkcentre with Windows 10 over a game console today seeing as I'm not an extremely avid gamer.

Not to mention apps like BlueStacks which allow you to run Android or IOS games like N.O.V.A. 3 on PC.

10/10 shitpost, my friend.

Believe it or not, slamming a 1050(ti) or RX 460 into a old business desktop with an i5/i7 or any modern off the shelf desktop with an i3 and a couple of physical slots is a surprisingly viable console alternative.

No. But to be fair, the regular PS4 (which is what the solution I was suggesting is supposed to be going up against) doesn't either. Even the PS4 Pro can't do native 4k 60fps (In most major releases). To do 4k 30+ on reduced settings (for the most part, similar to the ps4 pro) in major releases on PC, you need an RX 480 (8 gb for good measure, though 4 gb might be fine for now) or GTX 1060 6GB (Avoid the 3gb in this case). Sorry for the excessive reply to a shitpost.

shitpost aside, I did buy a (very expensive) 43 inches 4k pc monitor and am currently building a pc to drive it.

I'll show pics when it's done, probably in mid-may or end of may, because fp16 packed math looks incredibly appealing for the computations I will probably run on it, which is video/image processing and the vega gpu that does it should be coming out in may. Nvidia does it on its tegra SoC, i dont know why its not standard on its gpu.

maybe there is some way to move stuff from the junk room between the bedroom and the home office.

Why don't we make the junk room the office and the current office the baby room? You'd have more space for your monitor anyway and I would finally STFU for once.
