Seems like the damage Norman Borlaug did to the planet and human species is correcting itself.

I asked grok and chatgpt who the person who had the most impact on the world was but is the least known, and the answer was Norman Borlaug.

Basically he was a American plant geneticist who created high yield crops. This didn't do much for developed countries who didn't particularly need it, but it caused an absolute exponential explosion in the 3rd world population.

He's the reason Africa, China and India each have a population over 1 billion. They only exist because this one American dweeb gifted the world cheat codes to skip past centures/millenia of cultural and technological development and straight into food security and stability. None of them were meant to be this big and powerful. They didn't earn it. That's why India and Pakistan have less contribution to science, culture and humanity than your average Euro country. And why they have nuclear weapons and space programs without indoor plumbing.

If they all wipe each other out it would just be returning to the way things were before.

People also seem to be forgetting that the Indian sub-continent is geographically huge and has a population of nearly 2 billion. Outside of total global annihilation through M.A.D's there's no conceivable way for the two nations to be devastated enough that we skip the millions upon millions of refugees that large scale war creates. People think they want the nations to nuke themselves not realizing that every developed nation would get irradiated pajeets flooding in to every port within the year.
