This is about the extent of the Synth-related content from this stream, I ctrl f'd the transcript and the quick tldr is whining about creators that don't engage with the medium (le story, the games themselves) and instead focus on the politics involved. Patrician called "these people" grifters, namely Endymion, Mark Kern/Grummz and Asmongold. Dev clarifies that he thinks someone who actually believes in their politics wouldn't qualify, so presumably Synth (who is understood by the panel to be the antichrist) isn't included. Rags says he's surprised Synth isn't banned and called him "legitimately hateful" while Patrician called him a "tightrope dancer" and said if Synth had another 100k subs he'd probably be gone. Dev told a story where Synth watched a video from him years ago and said Dev is "almost" based and Dev, because he's a faggot troon chaser, made it into a tranny egg-cracking thing. I don't know if Creetosis said anything but he's talked shit about Synth on his own podcast so whatever.

At one point Dev cites the quote, "I only care about the writing, if the trans interracial lesbian non-binary spaceship technician is well written, it doesn't matter!" To which Rags said "Generally, this is fairly close to my position," and Dev said "Mine too!" What's worth noting is that the person who said this quote is Harry from Lotus Eaters, and you may recall that Harry has shouted out Synth a number of times now; he's defended Synth from Mauler regarding God of War Ragnarok and recently he mentioned Synth's Kingdom Come 2 review (not directly by name, but he laughed and confirmed the video after the show). Synth has repeatedly identified Harry as the based one from Lotus Eaters, and he's also floated the idea a few times of Harry coming on to Chudcast as a guest.

Within this stream Dev states that Harry's position seems to be "Even if the propaganda is well written or it's enjoyable as a piece of media, it's still propaganda and therefore you shouldn't support it, you shouldn't consume it because the other side is evil" which.... Yes, that seems like the obvious position to take with things you consider bad or immoral, that perpetuates politics you object to. Rags then states that in response to this, some people would have a "very reasonable take" which is "you are tying the objective quality of the narrative to whether or not someone is or isn't trans or isn't interracial, what their sexuality is and how they identify in terms of their gender. Those things necessarily have an intrinsic link to the objective quality of the writing". Patrician and Rags both state that theoretically, a trans interracial lesbian non-binary spaceship technician could be a GREAT character on Star Trek, which demonstrates they're a bunch of faggots and not to be taken seriously, but it's also worth noting that's not what Harry said at all.

Rags says that Harry's quote is basically faggot shit = low quality story/game/movie, that a character being "interracial" or a troon = bad writing. Dev's take was actually far more accurate, that the quality of writing is separate from the politics being pushed and that products should be avoided on the basis of the latter category, irrespective of the former. Rags is arbitrarily drawing a line here between quality and woke politics, and pushing this assertion onto Harry; this tracks as the crux of the stream was "but the WRITING dood !!! Piss Christ 2: White Genocide Edition is really well written and that's what matters !!!" But that's not at all the argument being made, and interestingly it's also not Synth's position as you may recall in his Baldur's Gate 3 review when he said a number of times that BG3 is disgustingly woke but it's a good game nonetheless. Baldur's Gate 3 does come up in the stream, but Patrician states that it's not woke because apparently to him, "woke" means "performative liberal activism", so I hope you guys didn't like him too much because he seems like a tard.

These centrist "antiwoke" types are faggots, that's not new; neither is their hatred for Synth, but it was surprising to hear them talk about Harry. Dev also stated that apparently he discussed this tweet with Mauler, although he didn't elaborate on Mauler's thoughts. If there's a stream of that it'd be great if someone could post it, because this is prime content for when Harry comes on Chudcast; I don't want to see Harry get in drama but he was always the best of the Lotus Eaters and it's really not surprising the centrist fags are going after him, if anything I'm surprised it took this long.
